We woke up in the closet and we had no idea of what happened after we got home. We had to go to school! Ugh! We didn't have time to get ready or anything! We had to go to school like zombies! All day everyone was staring at us like they had never seen a girl without makeup on. It was getting really annoying. So many people asked what had happened to us, but we decided to tell no one what had almost happened to Jake. the school day was terrible. Mrs. Hammerly, Malena and my English teacher, assigned us an essay that was due in 4 days. "With all of this stuff going on in my family with Jake and everything, I don't even know when to do my essay?" Malena said. "I can come over and help you today after school if you want and we could try to finish it tonight and get it over with." "That would be great. I hope that tonight isn't like last night." "Me either.
