She trembled against her bedroom door with her chocolate eyes closed. Was what she just saw... real? Bella almost scoffed at herself, if there were vampires, of course, there were giant Wolves and there... whatever the man she just fell upon, literally, was. Because he's obviously not human.

Bella took in a breath, short and sweet, before licking her lips and giving herself a quick shake. She moved away from her door, wincing at the pain in her swelling, most likely sprained ankle. The adrenaline was fading away and she was now starting to feel it.

The brunette took in a deep breath before sitting on the edge of her bed and ran a hand through her long hair, wincing when her fingers caught on a knot.

Turning her gaze to the floor length mirror in the corner of her plain room, which she now realized was... actually a mess, the younger Swan made a revolted face at the bird's nest her long hair was after running through the forest.

Bella quickly ran a brush through it, pulling out pieces of leaves and bits of twigs, before falling backwards onto her mattress. She chewed on her bottom lip, weighing the pros and cons of what she was thinking of doing.

He... he didn't look vicious or wild, mindless or feral. Maybe excited? He was completely focused on her and that's probably because she was the first person he'd seen in God knows how long.

A loud knock, "Bells?"

The young woman jerked up at her father's gruff voice, one hand holding the brush up like a weapon and the other grabbing at her chest to steady her hammering heart, "Yeah, Ch-Dad?"

She quickly lowered her brush as her door opened and Charlie poked his head in, "I'm heading off, okay? I left some money on the bench if you wanted to order takeout."

Bella smiled, the thoughts of when she was facing Laurent, coming back to her, the curve of her lips shakey, "Thanks, Dad. L-love you..."

He nodded back, awkwardly giving her a mumbled response and gently closed the door behind him.

The younger Swan fell back again, covering her eyes with her forearm, letting out a long, frustrated groan.

About fifteen minutes later, the sound of the Sheriff's patrol car rumbled loudly and she listened as it reversed out and drove off towards the police station, Harry's truck soon following after.

She dragged the heel of her hand up from the brow of her nose over her forehead to her hairline, before running her tongue across her top teeth. Sitting up one last time, Bella jumped to her feet and threw on a jacket, where the heck was her other one? She hurried out of her room, racing down the stairs towards the garage.

The eighteen year old scanned the wall where all her father's tools hung until her eyes focused on a pair of bolt cutters. Grabbing them, the tall brunette wandered through her home, this time slowly as if she was debating with herself on whether she was making the right choice or not.

Was what she was about to do... a good idea or a bad idea?

She stood at the closed back door, her right thigh jumping up and down with anxiety, before turning around and putting the bolt cutters on the table, racing up the stairs again back to her room, growing once more.
