Both stepped back and got into position, this was it, Luz remember the stories eda told how she fought against her lover and own sister, now was the time for her to fight against an enemy.

Luz looked at the weapons provided, a beast came out under the control of belos, it all happened so quick.
The mosterous beast ran, not at Luz or hunter but the both of them, the emperor was a bad man and cheated but if hunter would gain his trust back then he'd win this fight taking the both of them down.

The fight did not end well, Luz laid on the floor lifeless, the beast blooded and hunter on his knees panting as the emperor clapped his hands
"There you have it...amity you shall succeed after my nephew hunter, the golden guard.."

Amity watched as she fell to her knees, Luz was ok, she had to be, but amity watched them drag Luz's body off as she felt her heart break, Luz was gone, she was gone..

Amity ran, she ran and ran to eda, she bursted in as eda as startled
"oh amity! Um we're not doing anything illegal we haven't in decades!" Eda said serious but of course lying but saw the tears in amity's eyes and got worried
"hey kid what's wrong?" She said going over to Amity who just broke down in tears.

"it's Luz, she went into the emperor's coven to become a guard and he found out and now she's hurt" she shoved as eda got worried but did not understand
"Hey hey I'm gonna need you to breathe and calm down so you can tell me what's wrong"
Amity took deep breaths and spoke calmly
"Luz, she disguised herself as a guard and I found out, but then the emperor did to, he then had her fight against the golden guard and she got hurt from a beast too and now I don't know if she'll make it" she cried out worried
"Ok, ok she's gonna be fine, sure she's a fragile human but she's tough" the owl lady said as amity hugged her crying out sadly.
She blamed her self for letting this happen. Eda on the other hand was trying to come up with a plan to get the two out of there.
After breaking down amity made her way back to the infirmary to see if just by chance luz was there, and she was, she was beat bloodied but all banded up.

Amity looked at her as her heart ached, how could she let this happen? Would the emperor end her life if she helped Luz? She made an abomination as it carried Luz out. Amity had to get Luz out of there, she could get killed for all Amity knew.

Amity took Luz to the owl house, she laid Luz carefully on the couch and got her all settled, she hoped Luz would be ok, she paced around waiting for Luz to awake.

Amity sat around, explored the owl house in fact while watching over Luz for hours, them days, and finally weeks, she began to worry.

But finally almost a month and a half had passed and Luz awoke, Amity wasn't the same, her hair cut and pink as she had it in a small ponytail, she was reading a book sipping Apple blood and saw Luz awake as she coughed on her drink

"Luz?!" She said shocked and jumped hugging her
"You awake oh my god your awake!" She said as it showed she obviously was scared of loosing the human

Luz groaned in pain at the sudden hug, she was sore but hugged back

"What happened? How did I get here" she asked confused looking around

Amity chuckled softly as she wiped her tears away
"Well you and that golden guard fought, and um well the monster took you two out and I don't know about him but you've been in a deep slumber coma, it's been almost a month"

Luz coughed. Bit surprised
"A month?" She said shocked, she didn't plan to almost die, she just wanted Amity to have a better life, not in the covens but if that was her only choice then so be it.

Eda walked in "Finnaly, neither of you have left that couch since the incident, you have a room it's all cleaned up, go and rest up in there kid" she said as Luz groaned sitting up and standing up with the help of Amity.

Amity laid the human in bed as Luz sighed and pulled Amity down and held her close.

They both laid there without moving, everything would be alright, for the time being of course
