The race win wasn't really there for Charles, but P2 would have to do after the eventful day.

Paris smiled as she saw Charles cross the finish line, and followed the team up to the podium to celebrate the double podium which Ferrari managed to achieve. His eyes glistened as he looked at her. A soft smile appeared on his face.

Charles walked over to his Ferrari team as one by one they congratulated him. He gave paris a hug, she could feel the sweat and warmth of his body but she didn't care.

Evening came, the sun was setting on the west with beautiful shades of pink in the sky. Paris sat outside for a few moments, watching as the sun set over the track. She couldn't help but smile and think to herself her mother and father were watching her from up in the elegant sky.

"Hey you." Charles says as he approached where Paris was sitting. "Hey." She said, still not taking her eyes off of the sky above her. Charles took this moment to admire Paris. Her perfectly proportioned side profile, and her perfectly glossed lips, he couldn't help but smile.

Eventually he turns and faces the sky with Paris. "Who's watching over you." He questions as Paris turns to look at him. "My parents." She replies with a sad toned smile. He takes a moment and looks at her in shock. "Paris.. I don't know what to say." He replies feeling sorry for the monegasque woman. He looks into her eyes for a moment, admiring her once again.

Minutes pass, Paris and Charles still watching the sky together when Paris rests her head on Charles's shoulder. To her it felt like comfort, someone she could trust. Once Charles realises, he smiles and leans his head onto of hers still watching the beautiful sunset.  "Charles?" Paris says out of nowhere. He looks down at her and replies "yes." She takes a deep breath before speaking again. "What happened between you and Charlotte?" She asks waiting for a response. "I ended things with her." He says as his voice starts to become weak. Paris could tell he was hurt by it and decided it was best not to bring it up for a while. "If you ever want to talk, I'm here for you." She says looking up at Charles who smiles softly. He leans and hugs her tight. He knew there was something about Paris that was different.

"What's the time?" She asks as she watches Charles looking down at his very expensive Rolex watch. "It's almost 8pm." He says as he looks back up from his watch and up at the beautiful sight of Paris. "Should we go find somewhere to eat?" He asks, as his left eyebrows raises. Paris smiles softly and nods at him.

Charles gets up from the bench and offers his hand to help Paris up, she kindly accepted.

The evening went on perfectly, Charles and Paris decided since race weekend was over they could treat themselves to a McDonald's, which the did.

"Thank you for tonight." Paris says in a soft tone. "I really enjoyed it." She says standing just outside of her hotel room. "No problem, I enjoyed it too." He says smiling as the both of them catch eye contact once again. "I'll see you Tomorrow for the flight back."  Paris says as she opens her hotel door with her key card. "Goodnight Paris." He says to her, not taking his eyes off her since they reached the hotel. "Goodnight Charles." Replies Paris. As she was saying goodnight, Charles placed his hand softly round her waist and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

The stare at each other for a moment again, before Paris walked into her hotel and watched Charles walk the other direction to his hotel room.

She couldn't help but smile and remember a few moments ago what had just occurred. She didn't wipe the kiss off her cheek, it was special and causing her comfort as a huge happy smile appeared on her face as she shut the hotel door.
