* 3 months later *
jeongin had finally moved on from lena, it had taken him quite sometime. she also hasn't called him or texted him which you were happy about. not because you liked him or anything but because you didn't want to see him be put through a bad mental state again
as you were putting your books away in your locker, you felt a pair of hands grab your shoulders
"missed me?" the voice coming from behind said.
you knew exactly who it was and rolled your eyes as you closed your locker
"no not really" you removed jeongins hands from your shoulder and turned around to face him
he put his hand to his chest "wow, that hurt"
the bell rang meaning school had officially ended and it was time for all students to go home
you saw how he looked a bit nervous to talk to you for some reason, which made you a bit confused
"oh, i was gonna ask you if you wanted to go to the ice cream shop and to the park. like right now?" he said
"now, like in our uniform?" you asked
you knew jeongin never liked going to public places with the school uniform on, but why did all of a sudden want to go out like this?
"yes in our uniform"
you were a bit hesitant on your answer, but before you can say anything your hand was being grabbed by jeongin who was dragging you out the school.
"so why did you decided to go now instead of later?" you asked confusedly as you both walked to the ice cream shop
"b-because it's always full later on in the day" he stuttered
"but it's full now since everyone's getting out of school..."
"let's just go now y/n! stop asking so many questions" jeongin exclaimed
"woah okay, calm down tiger" you calmly said
"i'm sorry, it's just, i'm very nervous right now and um yeah" jeongin looked at you
you looked back at him with your eyebrows furrowed, which made him laugh a bit
you both arrived to the ice cream shop and walked in.
"wow, this place hasn't changed a bit" you said amused while looking around
"hey guys, what can i get for you guys today?" The server asked as you guys walked up to the counter
"can i get a vanilla chocolate dip?" you asked
the server nodded and looked at jeongin
you noticed how he had zoned out and looked lost in his thoughts. you gave him a little nudge so he could zone back in
"huh? Oh, right, uh ... i'll have a mint chocolate chip" jeongin said as he looked at you and then back at the server
the server nodded at jeongin's order and proceeded to grab two ice cream cones to fill them up with the flavors
once she finished, she called the both of you over and gave you the ice cream cones as the both of you payed
"thank you guys! come again" the server said as you both made your way to the door
you decided to look back and give the server a little wave as in a 'thank you'
"so, what was that about?" you asked taking a bite out of your ice cream
"what was what about?" he tried to the dodge the question
"you know, you zoning out and looking lost"
"oh, don't worry about that"
you looked at jeongin a bit worriedly, why was he acting so strange today?
