"Good Morning, Mr Puth." Carol announced, "You have a meeting with your father in 20 minutes."
Shit. What time is it? I'm going to be late and it's going to be important. I'm never going to get the company at this behaviour. I groaned and rolled over to look at the clock which displayed '12:00pm'.
I jumped out of bed, threw a suit on and ran downstairs. Carol had my coffee ready and the driver was waiting outside. If only I was more efficient and organised with my time. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten so smashed yesterday.
Waiting in the car was someone out of my expectations.. Darlene. Darlene is the daughter of the CEO of Puth Enterprise. I was expected to marry her since the age of basically when I was born. I've never actually been physically or emotionally attracted to her. She's too fragile, too perfect. I'd break her.
"Darlene," I placed a kiss on her cheek, "how are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you." She's too beautiful "I quite missed having you around, Charlie."
"I missed you, it's been too long." I insisted we hung out soon, I'd be lost without my darling Darlene.
"We have arrived, Mr Puth." Vanya announced
"I'll see you around, Darlene," I placed another kiss on her cheek then was ready to face my father.
