"Red Means I Love You."

Chapter one: Mission

Jesse Cassidy was supposed to be in jail right now. Sitting on the cold floors, cigarettes would have been stripped clean from his position. That sounded horrible, torture even. Thank the lords he was offered another way out to a group called Blackwatch. Blackwatch was not a bad group per say, saved him a lot of time but damn they worked him to the bone with training. He wasn't fat or anything, he was just very out of shape. Now he was somewhat in a good position to be a part of the team in a completely black fit, tight pants, black vest and the iconic black cowboy hat sitting on top of chocolate brown locks that were thick and curled at the end.

Jesse sat at the table in the meeting room for Blackwatch, black farm boots resting on the table as he leaned back in the swivel chair. A big cigar hung from his chapped lips, hands resting on his stomach. His eyes closed while the air conditioner flowed through the room, being cool enough for the cowboy to doze off in the chair. The ash from the cigar fell all over his black outfit which was gonna be a pain in the ass to brush off completely. Jesse woke up to an awful start, Reyes shoved his boots off the table, causing his body to shift up and the chair shifted so he sat up and almost fell off of said chair.
"Get your nasty boots off the damn table, Cassidy."
Reyes scolded with a soft growl to his tone, moving away to the head chair. He sat down and started the meeting. Jesse scrambled to throw his cigar away after putting it out, trying to clean himself up. The team had gathered around, consisting of Commander Reyes, Moria and Genji besides Cassidy who was running around cleaning the ash off his black clothing.

The mission was simple. A friend to Overwatch AND Blackwatch was taken hostage in Eichenwalde, a place none of them were very familiar with. Overwatch provided a map made by Reinhardt since he was stationed there for most of his military career. Reyes marked an exit and entry route with two colors, exit was red and entry was green. He talked about where hiding places were, guards, every precaution they'd need. They packed a bag to go with weapons , healing supplies and bullets with a gun or guns if you were Reyes. They climbed aboard the airship, Overwatch giving their goodbyes. Jesse grinned and waved goodbye before being pushed into a seat and getting buckled in by Genji. The cowboy scoffed loudly, rolling his eyes. "I ain't no child, Genji." He chided at the other, his arms crossing over his chest. Genji glared at the other, red eyes gleaming in the left over light as the door closed and the ship took off towards Germany. "You are acting like one." He spoke as cold as ice, looking away towards the wall.

Jesse wasn't the best man in the world, it's a given if he could be jailed by any means. Chills went down his spine as he got the cold words from Genji. Now was not the best time to be poking at the grumpy dragon. Jesse made sure he had extra cigars for the ride, he knew he could smoke when they landed before the infiltration. Before Cassidy knew it a voice crackled over the intercom, informing them they were landing in the area around the broken castle. "Welcome to Eichenwalde." The robotic voice chriped. It seemed so happy considering that Blackwatch was handling a kidnapping of a close friend. Not the best reason to show up in Germany, could have been for a wedding, long distant relatives. Unfortunately it's not the reason and as soon as they landed Cassidy lit a cigar up while the doors slowly opened. He took a massive drag before putting it out against the gray mental floor. He tossed it into his bag with the lighter and pulled his revolver out. The red dot Lazer making a dot on the bland floor as the team got prepared to exit and get to the man trapped in a castle. How romantic.

The team slipped past multiple guards, somehow with the four of them it wasn't as hard as it seemed. This place was overwhelmed with German gangs that protected the said person. Cassidy looked around, noticing in the castle that lights were shining warm lights that spilled out windows. Even the stained glass window spilled of the warm light. Cassidy glanced at Commander Reyes with a nervous look, they didn't plan for the place to be awake at this point in the night. They sent Genji in to explore the area as he was the swift silent ninja kind of stereotype shoved into a robotic man. When Genji came back he led the team through a specific path that Jesse more than once almost broke the pace and fallen from ledges. Maybe he wasn't as fit as he hoped, slowing the team down a considerably amount.

Eventually they made it to a high floor hallway, guards swarming the hall. Reyes motioned for Moria to send an orb of damage down the hall, sucking the life out of the guards till it was clear. The team quietly rushed to the door and slowly opened the door where a man was laying on the cement, bruises mark his face a horrible black color. "Cassidy, tend to Y/N." He spoke firmly with concern yet urgency as he walked in but that was his first mistake. Two guards quickly aimed their guns at Commander Reyes, a bunch of guards swarming the hall. Reyes realized he set off a trip wire along with the guards in the corners of the room watching the man like a hawk. "Reyes we need to leave!" Cassidy cried out, aiming and taking fire at the guards. Genji pulled his blade out and knocked out half of the hallway with such a look of rage he could have killed his team with just the look as well. Reyes ducked as Moria sucked the life out of the other guards but it wouldn't be enough to get to Y/N who was wide awake and sitting up. He struggled against his chains as he cried out for the team but Cassidy had to pull Reyes back with Moria. Before the door closed, Cassidy caught the man's look and he felt a guilt pool in his stomach the second he saw the look Y/N gave him.
