- Personality: Yu Xian has a rebellious and free spirit, undoubtedly the result of the strict upbringing provided by her uncle Yu Jin, who raised her since she was a child. Despite this, Yu Xian views her uncle in very high regards, and takes to the battlefield more in his name than for Lord Cao Cao. While not particularly fond of her strict upbringing, Yu Xian uses a lot of what Yu Jin has taught her growing up, often showcasing moments of calm rationality that belie her hot headed nature

Yu Jin:

- Xian's paternal uncle, Yu Jin became her guardian after her father had passed away due to illness when she was a child. He raised her with a firm hand, believing it would help mold Xian into a proper lady. His plan backfired, and Xian took on a more rebellious attitude because of it. Despite this, Xian cares very deeply for her uncle, enough so to defend his name after the events of Fan Castle

Cai Wenji:

- A fellow officer in Wei, Yu Xian enjoys listening to the other woman play her harp, which Cai Wenji is more than happy to indulge. Cai Wenji takes on the role of a motherly figure to Yu Xian, and also acts as the voice of reason whenever she and Yu Jin have a disagreement. Xian often tries to play matchmaker for Cai Wenji and Yu Jin, but her attempts at sparking a romance between the two tends to fall flat

Guan Xing:

- Yu Xian has "complicated" feelings for the second son of Guan Yu. First meeting briefly during the events of Fan Castle, Xian unintentionally and unknowingly fell in love with the boy at first sight. Not knowing the exact origins nor cause of her sudden distressful state when in his presence, Yu Xian had foolheartedly compared it to Wang Yi's hatred towards Ma Chao, and came to the conclusion that she has to kill him to avenge her uncle's fate and lost reputation
