Hermione's Little Sister

A Couple of Weeks Later

Marie sits at the Gryffindor table and pushes her food around her plate. The Golden Trio looks at her. Marie hasn't talked to anyone since she stopped visiting Draco. Hermione looks over and places a hand on her shoulder. "Marie?" Marie shrugs it off and looks away. "Marie..." 

Marie grabs her bag and leaves the Great Hall. Everyone watches. "What's up with her?" No one notices as Blaise and Draco also leave the Great Hall.

Marie sits in the Astronomy Tower and sits in the corner as she curls up and cries. She hears footsteps and looks up. She sees Draco and Blaise. She gets up and goes over to Draco. She hugs him and cries. Draco rubs her back and shushes her. She looks and sees Blaise. 

She pulls him closer and he hugs her as well. She calms down and looks up at Draco. "I-I'm sorry..." Draco shushes her and just holds her close. Blaise pulls away from the hug and watches the two. Marie sighs and yawns. "Tired?" "Haven't slept well..." 

Draco smiles and helps her walk back down to the Hogwarts hallways. Students are leaving the Great Hall. Marie keeps her eyes cast down to the floor. Students whisper and point. Marie pulls her hood up and feels tears welling up in her eyes. Draco reaches down and holds her hand. 

Marie tries to wiggle her hand out of his but Draco keeps her there. Everyone looks at them. Marie glances up at Draco and smiles. He looks down and sees her. He smiles a little. Marie stops them from walking any further and Draco looks at her. She leans on her toes and kisses him. 

She pulls away and sees a blush on Draco's face. She smiles and they continue walking again. Draco sees the Golden Trio and lets go of Marie's hand. She intertwines their fingers again and smiles. Ron looks over Hermione and Harry's shoulders and sees them. "Bloody hell..." 

Hermione and Harry turn and see Draco and Marie holding hands. Hermione sees how happy Marie looks. Marie looks at them and smiles.

Marie lays on Draco's bed while Draco sits there studying. Marie sits up and looks at him. "Draco?" "Hmm?" "I'm bored..." Draco looks at her and smiles.  She looks at him and smiles. Blaise walks in and sees them. "Come on Lovebirds, dinner's in the Great Hall..." 

Marie turns to Blaise and blushes. Draco feels the blush on her face and leans over. He kisses her cheek and gets up. Marie gets off the bed as well and they all leave.

Marie, Draco, and Blaise enter the Great Hall. Marie goes over to Gryffindor's table and they all look at her. She sits next to Hermione and just looks down. They hate me...She looks up and sees the Slytherins around Draco talking to him. He doesn't seem too pleased. He gets up and leaves. 

Marie sees Blaise looking at her and motions for her to leave. She quickly gets up and leaves the Great Hall. She can't find Draco and panics.

After looking for about two hours, she still can't find him. She runs to the Gryffindor common room and sees Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Harry looks at her and taps Hermione's shoulder. Hermione turns and sees her. "Marie?" 

Marie bites the inside of her lip to stop herself from crying. "P-Please..." Hermione gets up and goes over to her. "What's wrong?" Marie feels tears rolling down her face. "I-I can't... find D-Draco... he left d-dinner...." 

Hermione hugs her and Marie panics thinking something has happened. "W-What's happened?" Hermione looks at her. "Nothing... we'll help you find him..."

Marie sighs. "Where else would be be?" Harry looks at Marie and her eyes widen. She takes off running. Hermione, Ron, and Harry run after her. She runs to the Astronomy tower and quickly but quietly goes up the stairs. 

She sees Draco leaning against the railing on the inside and her eyes widen. She goes over and wraps her arms around him. Draco jolts and turns around. Marie cries into his shirt. Draco sits them on the ground and blinks a couple of times. Marie looks up at him. "D-Draco..." 

Draco shushes her and lets her cry. He hears footsteps and sees the Golden Trio. He tightens his wraps around Marie and sticks his face in her neck. Marie feels tears hitting the skin near her neck. "Draco... it's okay..." He pulls away and looks at her. "I'm sorry..." Marie looks at him. 

"Why?" "They were talking about you..." Marie just smiles. "I saw... it doesn't matter because I will always be here..." Hermione, Ron, and Harry look at Marie with wide eyes. Draco looks at her widened eyes. "Always?" "Always..."
