"So where are you going Petra?" Nifa asked as she sat on Petra's bed, petting her cat Gurgi.
"Going to Oluo's place. I told him I would try watching anime. Since he was willing to watch all my favorite Disney movies with me", Petra called from her bathroom. She ran the flat iron through her hair.
"Yay! You're finally becoming an Otaku!!!" Nifa shouted. "You know I got Moblit into anime"
"Of course you did" said Petra with a laugh. She stepped out of her bathroom. "Do I look ok?"
She was wearing black leggings with a green tunic.
"Simple and cute for a quite night in....and easy to get off" Nifa said with a wink.
"Nifa!!! We've only be together for like 2 months" Petra said rolling her eyes.

Oluo Bozard felt like he needed to vacuum again.
"I know what your thinking, and I swear Oluo if I hear that vacuum cleaner one my time, I may just beat you to death with it"
His roommate Eld, sat at their kitchen counter, typing on his laptop. "I've got a paper to finish for my child psychology class, and I don't think I can stand to hear that vacuum again. The carpet looks fine.
"Look I know that Jasper sheds and I just don't want her to think we a slobs.."
"Dude chill...she likes you, a lot. She's your girlfriend"
"But this is the first time she's come to the apartment and I don't want her to-"
"Flee in terror", said Gunther coming down the hall.
Oluo rolled his eyes.
"You guys are going to make yourself disappear right?" He asked.
"Yes we shall lock ourselves in our bedrooms and be making no noise" Gunther said. "Unless a house elf shows up"
Oluo shot him a look.
"Chill dude, we are going out with some friends tonight", said Eld still staring at his computer.

Petra smoothed her hair and knocked on the door.
Oluo opened the door with a warm smile, and pulled Petra into a warm hug.
"Even not a the shop you still smell like coffee" she said with a giggle.
"Curse of the job" he said.
"I like it" she said as Oluo let her in the apartment.
"Wow for 3 guys it's pretty clean" she said. "Nifa's boyfriend's apartment frightened me"
Oluo laughed, and wasn't going to tell her about the military style cleaning he had been doing all day.
"So if I remember correctly...Chardonnay right?" Oluo said getting two wine glasses out of the cabinet
"You're the first guy to actually remember that" Petra said with a smile.

"So they both still don't know that we all know each other" said Eld, having to talk a bit louder over the noise of the bar.
"I wanted to do my own little digging through Moblit to make sure Oluo wasn't a serial killer of something" Nifa said, already a bit tipsy.
"Look Oluo might be a bit odd, but he's a big softie at heart. You should seem him when his brothers come to visit" Gunther laughed. He looked around.
"Looking for someone?" Nifa asked.
"Just a beautiful woman to bear my soul too" he said taking a sip of his beer.
Moblit rolled his eyes. "I'm telling ya dude it will happen when you least expect it"
"If you say so...oh sh*t" Gunther ducked under the table.
"What's wrong with you?"
"My boss is here. I don't want him to see me" Gunther said.
They all turned to look, and sure enough Levi was standing with a small group, his arm around a woman with brown hair and glasses.
"Gunther you do realize your 23 right? You are acting like an RA caught you sneak Busch Lite into your dorm" Moblit said laughing.
"I know that" Gunther hissed, "I just don't want to make small talk"
Nifa sighed, "and I'm sure he doesn't want to talk to you either, seems to be enjoying himself with his friends and lady".
Gunther stayed hidden.

"So I think I found an anime you might like. I know that last one was a bit violent, but it has strong female characters so..."
"I liked the characters, but watching being getting eaten by naked giant humans just wasn't for me...I couldn't watch Game of Thrones cause of the violence, turned it off as soon as they chopped that guys head off" Petra said making a face.
The left over Thai take out containers sat on the coffee table as Petra cuddled up to Oluo. She has never felt so....present with someone before. Oluo actually listened to her, remembered her favorite wine, her favorite Thai Restaurant, that she didn't like her pad tai with peanuts.
"So this is a romantic comedy that makes fun of the typical Shojo tropes." Oluo said, as he opened his Crunchyroll account.
"That's like the more romantic and funny animes right?"
Oluo smiled, "you remembered what Shojo was?"
Petra winked at him, "I did my homework"
"You know" he said, looking into Petra's eyes. "You are one of the first girls who actually has made an effort to try and enjoy my interests. I really like that about you"
Petra felt her face flush.
"Well you did watch The Black Cauldron with me like a million times...which is an underrated Disney classic" she said with a small laugh.
Petra placed a hand on his cheek. "I'm glad I had all those dates at the Coffee Club. It's nice to know someone was listening to me"
"To be honest Petra I could listen to you talk all day"
Petra pulled Oluo close to her and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
They broke apart, faces flushed.
"So ready to give anime another go?"
Petra pulled the throw over the both of them. "Mmhmm"
Oluo hit play and pulled Petra close to him.
The OP of the anime began playing out of the tv.
