"Come on sweetheart." you pleaded quietly at the door, placing your hand gently where Roadhog slammed his giant fist.

"I know you're awake in there." The tone in your voice slightly more harsh than before. "you know you can always talk to me if there's something bothering you... That's what partners are for." You waited a couple of seconds before carrying on, trying not to let the worry in your voice show. "I just don't understand why you're hiding love".

Suddenly, the door unlocked and slid open.

There was Jamie, wearing no gear, just a pair of black boxers, and looking awfully sorry for himself.

He stood before you, slouched in his usual stance, eyes red and puffy. He had his classic maniacal grin plastered over his face. He sniffles, his nose and cheeks a bright pink. "Hey, Sheila."

You looked up at the Junker who stood tall in front of you, even with his slouch. "Are you alright? I've been worried sick."

Your feelings of worry and concern were written all over your face, as plain as the eye could see. You may as well have shouted it out.
You looked deeply into his eyes.

You don't tend to get too sentimental about these types of situations, he's a bloke! He'll come back round when he's ready! But this had to be serious.
Jamison wouldn't lock himself up for this long without good reason.

Your mind wandered back to what could have triggered it. Was it your fault? Did he hate you? It couldn't have possibly been that. You stared at him, wishing you could help.

You both stood there in silence, intently staring into each other's eyes both waiting for one another to break this silence, till he spoke up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Stop worryin'!" He grinned, somehow wider than before. You frowned at his sudden cheeriness.

"But Jamie?-" You tried to question him but he cut you off again. "I'm just a little bit tired, That's all!" He waved his robotic hand dismissively, grabbing the door handle with his other hand, slowly beginning to close the door.

You quickly wedged your right foot and knee into the gap before he could even think about isolating himself from the world again. From you again.

"Oi, don't you dare lie to me Mister!" You retorted, almost sternly, as your eyes locked together. You placed your hand on the door frame.

You both endured a long and intense staring contest, his sharp yellow eyes boring into your softer E/C ones.

He let out a gentle sigh, "Fine."
Breaking eye contact, he looked back into his room, released the door handle, and turned his back walking away from the door.
