"Nick!"
You burst into the hospital, accidentally knocking someone down and hurriedly apologizing to that person.
You are not allowed into Burkhardt's room. But Nick quietly says "Let her through" at the same time as Renard, who, unlike his subordinate, speaks loudly, and you manage to get through.
"How are you?" You ask excitedly, rushing to the detective.
He smiles, gently intercepting your hand and squeezing it.
"It's okay," his voice sounds incredibly muffled, "it's already okay..."
Tears accumulate in the corners of your eyes, ready to spill, but Grimm lifts his hand and runs it down your cheek. You press your hand against his and cover your eyes.
"I was so scared for you..." you whisper, running your hand through the policeman's hair.
"And how I was afraid for you," thought the black-haired man.
Thank God you came home later than usual and when you saw your beloved on the floor unconscious, you called an ambulance.
You don't know that your boyfriend is a Grimm.
And Burkhardt hopes you don't find out about it.
