Day Of Funeral (1 month ago)

Destiny's POV

--

"I'll never forget you"

I reached my hand out onto the coffin, I felt a hand touch mine

It gave me a small shock,

"Hey you, it will be okay"

The voice comforted me,

Atleast I thought it did then

I felt my tears in my eyes,

I got sharp pains in my hands and cheeks

I stared at the dull black coffin motionless

A single tear fell out my eye joining the rest on my cheeks,

I turn around to the body trying to comfort me,

I faked a smile and hugged the body

somehow I thought this made me feel better

"You need anything?"

I stepped out off his touch

I looked down in disappointment

"I need my dad back"

Today

--

It's been one month since I've been by myself,

it's been 2 months since my dad died,

my grandad used to pop round, now he never bothers.

My mom said when she left for Canada to call her if I ever changed about staying home with my dad,

My mom and dad never slit up,

He got offered a job in LA,

Where I am now,

I decided to go with him since I was being bullied in my school back home,

That was 7 years ago.

I don't know if my mom even knows about my dads death?

I hate to think or tell anybody about it,

Something tells me I need to ring her,

Our water has been shut off since dad payed all the dills,

I can't live like this I need to ring her,

I dial her digits

*ring....ring....ring....ring....ring*

"Sorry the person you called-"

I hang up.

I look on a website for plane tickets since she won't answer her calls I'll surprise her.
