It's not the best feeling leaving your friends behind but it was for the best. (Y/n) and I can't live on like this anymore. It hurts me and her. I want her but she doesn't want me so it's better for me to leave. And also. I can...
It has been already a while since the incident and we were at my place again. Well V went home and so did Taemin and Hana stayed at my place until we figured out what to do. All the other girls returned to their families but sadly Hana couldn't because the hospital couldn't find any informations about her. I walked up to her as she was sitting on the couch with a bowl of cornflakes in her hand and watched TV. "You okay?" I asked her as I sat down next to her but she was so focused on the cartoon that all she did was giving me a small nod. I chuckled.

"The girls are with their families again." I told her but once again she just nodded. For a second I hesitated to ask her the next thing but at the end just asked. "Don't you want to meet your parents?" Once I said it, she looked over to me. This got her attention and she placed the bowl on the little desk before her. "You know that the police and the hospital couldn't find anything about me. It was hard to figure out who the other girls actually are so I just accepted the fact that I will never know who I was before being kidnapped." She explained and was about to reach for the bowl again until I spoke. "The police wasn't the only one searching you up." I told her and once again she looked over to me. "What du you mean?" She looked at me confused and I chuckled. I got a picture out and placed it before her. She looked down at it puzzled before looking at me again not really understanding what I was up to. "Look at it. What do you see?" I asked her and once again she looked down. "Two people and a little kid. Parents with their daughter I guess?" She explained looking down at the picture of the family I gave her. I placed my hand on her back and slipped a bit closer. "Yeah that's right. This is the mother Haruto, the father Kaito and this is their daughter...Hanako Yamada. That is your real name." Once I said that her eyes widened and she held the photo closer. V found her. That guy really was the best hacker on the planet. For a second all she did was stroking the picture with her fingers and just stared at it. "This is you. With your parents. They live in Japan." I said and after that she threw the picture on the table and lent back on the couch. I looked at her a bit surprised.

"So what? I don't even remember them because I was so young when I got kidnapped. They for sure also forgot about me." She said and kept on watching the cartoon. I got my phone out and unlocked it. "I wouldn't be so sure about that. Look." I handed her the phone and she looked at it. It was the Facebook profile of her mother. "Every year on your birthday she posted about you and how they would never give up looking for you." She started reading the post that I had to translate to Korean first because it was in Japanese.
My dear daughter. Twelve years passed since you were taken away from me. I can't believe that you are already 22 years old. It is always so hard for me to celebrate your birthday next to an empty chair but I will never lose hope. I still believe that you are alive and one day you will be with us again. You will always be my one and only beautiful daughter who I miss to death. You have no idea how much I miss you and I hope so much that you are living your life happy without pain. One day we will be reunited again even if not on this world. Have a beautiful birthday my sunshine. Your Mother
As she was reading the post, I could see a small tear landing on my phone. I pulled her hair to the side and saw her eyes filled with small tears that she tried to hold back but it was almost impossible.

"This was posted two days ago which means you just turned 22. They are still waiting for you Hana." I told her and now she dropped the phone and broke down. Her sobs could be heard in the whole apartment. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close to me. She placed her hands on my chest and let it all out. As I stroked her back, her cries became a bit quieter and I started speaking. "Do you want to meet them?" I asked and once she heard that she let go of me and looked up at me. After sipping her tears away she gave me a small nod and I smiled. I let go of her and got something out of my pocket and handed it to her. "What is that?" She asked while looking at the two peace of papers I handed her. "Two plane tickets. We are flying to Japan tomorrow." Her eyes widened and her hands started shaking. "F-For real?" She stuttered and I chuckled before nodding my head. Once again she looked down at the tickets and had no idea what to say. "You will meet them." I said and held her shoulders. She started crying again and I locked her in my arms again. She went through enough so this was the least I could do for her after the police helped in almost nothing. Enough with all this shot. She deserved to be with her family again. Way to much time passed and they had a lot to catch up on. Once in my life I felt like it was the right decision to be good. Even if just for a little while. „Happy birthday."
