Quiet Leaf & Her Adventures

Week 5

I make out four different beasts in front of us now. A tiger, saber tooth tiger, armored saber tooth tiger, and a weretiger. I turn to look at the rest of my friends while pulling out one of my shortswords. When I look back at the cult, they seem to be holding back all the beasts except their saber tooth tiger. I take it as a sign we're fighting each one at a time.

I look back and see Christopher pull out his long bow and shoot, making a direct hit. The saber tooth tiger then lunges and him and slashes him before backing away slightly. I take the opportunity to swing my swords at it. Unfortunately, I seem to be a few steps off and miss my shortsword. For vengeance, I try again but do the same thing. Damnit!

Janvier then attempts to back me up by swinging his rapier at the beast. He unfortunately misses by a lot somehow, but made up for it when he went back for seconds with one of his daggers. Mars then attempts to throw a dagger at it but also misses. Janvier and I then take a few steps back while Kalimay seems to ready a spell. Just as we get a good distance from it, this surge of magic strikes the beast and it is unconscious, bleeding out.

"You've had powerful spells like that this entire time?!" I shout to her.

She shrugs at me and laughs because she knows it was true. She's had such bad luck this entire time trying to do literally anything. I soon get over ny shock, reminding myself of where we are and what's going on. I turn back to the cult, once family, now noticing that my mother has been tied up and held captive this entire time. This only made my anger grow more. How could he do this to her?

I was now fuming, wanting to get even with him. I stared him down as they guided a new beast out towards us. By the glaces i took to look at it, it seemed to be a one up from the saber tooth tiger. It was still another saber tooth tiger, this one just seemed to have armor. Just a minor set back.
