I squinted my eyes as I opened. them. I saw a bright light. And jumped up from the bed. I looked around and saw a nurse. I yelled for her, but she didn't hear me. I laid back down on the bed. I looked to my left and saw my mother crying her eyes out. I wanted to cry with her but I held back the tears. Then all of a sudden I thought of Jennifer. I looked side to side for her, but I did not see her. I felt my fist tightening. I tried getting up, but my mom lightly pushed me down back on the bed. I wanted to see her but my mom didn't let me. She told me that Jennifer was in another room. I tired to convince my mom. She didn't listen.
