He was pacing about by the large window in his room. The photos of his family, along with posters of the Chudley Cannons had been plastered around the room watched as the brown haired boy walked around in a right state of nerves. He began to quietly mutter to himself, saying something along the lines of, "Gryffindors are always brave. Be brave now." Unbeknownst to him, his father had come and leaned against the doorway smiling at his son's anxiousness. Harry saw that James was gripping the rasta colored hacky sack his Uncle Ron had given him the night before.

"See here, Jamie. This is some muggle contraption that boys around your age love. Not really sure what it does, but when I took Rosie to a park in muggle London we saw some boys kicking it around," Ron had gone on to explain. "Thought you might enjoy it."

"Thanks, Uncle Ron! Where'd you find one?" Jamie exclaimed, already trying to kick the toy around.
"Well, um, wh-where I got it isn't the important thing..." Ron stuttered, suddenly finding the hem of his jumper quite interesting. His ears began turn a twinge of red as he avoided all eye contact. At that Hermione choked on her drink and began to sputter in cohesive words.

"Ronald! You didn't! Merlin, please tell me you didn't!" Hermione cried looking rather flabbergasted.
"Didn't what, Mama?" Little Rose Weasley asked tugging at her mother's robes. All the younger children began to gather around, hoping to see their grown Uncle get a scolding from Hermione.

"Well, Rose, it seems that your father used magic to summon that toy," growled Hermione. Ron had began to cower away from his fearsome wife, and the children began to roar with laughter at the sight. Harry and Ginny chuckled when seeing Ron looking ruefully at the other children muttering, "Bloody traitors, the lot of them."

The rest of the evening went smoothly enough with Jamie and Albus kicking around the hacky sack in the backyard. Teddy playing with them, began to levitate the toy and made it do tricks for their entertainment. Meanwhile, Lily, Hugo and Rose were off chasing garden gnomes by the flower bushes. Hermione had finally forgiven Ron and both were then talking to Harry and Ginny, all unbelieving of the fact that Teddy would be finishing Hogwarts that year and James barely starting. Time, for a moment seemed to have just crept up on them.

Now however, Harry could only smile at the sight of his son. Eventually, Jamie took notice of his father standing at the doorway of his room. He offered an uneasy smile, catching Harry off guard. For once, his son did not wear the usual mischievous grin that dares everyone around to try and figure out what it was he was scheming.

"Alright, Dad?" Jamie had asked in a shaky voice. Harry could not help but laugh at at his son's brave attempt of not sounding nervous.

"Jamie, I'm pretty sure I should be the one asking you that question. Not the other way around," Harry lightly teased. Taking two strides across the room, he enveloped Jamie into a massive hug. Jamie could not help but to hold on as tightly as possible to his father. With his head hidden inside Harry's stomach, he allowed one quick tear to escape.

"You'll write me, right Daddy? Both you and Mummy?" Jamie asked, referring to his parents by the names he long stopped using, causing his father's heart to soar.

"That is why we got you Hermes," Harry answered gesturing over at the tawny owl cleaning its feathers in his cage in the corner of his room. Finally able to look up, Jamie said, "Rosie suggested the name from one of those muggle books she reads. It's a messanger name or something like that."

"Got her mother's brains, that one," Harry smiled. "Well, come on, lad. Everyone's come to see you off."With a wave of his wand, Harry sent the luggage into the main room where the whole Potter family would travel from via floo network. They're to head off to the Leaky Cauldron and from there take the ministry cars to King's Cross Station. The Weasleys were planning on meeting the Potters at The Leaky Cauldron in order to travel with them to King's Cross as show of moral support for Jamie. Teddy was going to meet up with them there along with his grandmother, Andromeda. Both Harry and Jamie made their way to the rest of the family. Lily was hanging on to Ginny, while Albus stood there waiting patiently.
