DEATHLY LIVING SCROLLS

It stank of all things putrid;

life, decaying.

My sunken feet disintegrating in gluke

-their deafening vile life forms

gnawing into flesh, hammering away.

Pain searing, my skin burning

-yet I still hide, the last place you'll look;

never waking city

-except its' crippling invisible organisms;

alive, they're very much alive,

sinking their nashers'

on soft, moist skin

it bleeds -oh how it bleeds

-yet still I hide,

in putrid things that stink;

life, sleeping, decaying.

BROKEN PROMISES

Of all the lands you promised me,

The living land condemned me;

Trickles, -of deathly scars

plunge deep, sweeping, -raping martyrs.

My shrieks no longer claw the skies;

The ghouls no longer chase my eyes

-twisted sunrise purges my rise

Of all the lands -it's hidden me.

The jewel, my heart

A rotting coal

Jagged ridges, corpse parts.

Skinned-shelling cracked ribs,

A hollow torso with no zing.

A glint too dark

Parts your eyes

Mocks, taints -my love for thy

Ambushed lights of my pure flight

The land you promised

Condemns me.

MY JEKYLL MY HYDE

The door closed with a creak and shut behind me,

-I hadn't moved an inch, something wrapped past me.

Stains on my hands, red gluke of fear,

my Jekyll cursed my Hyde with tainted grunts of jeer.

A claw at the ready, a dagger in my grasp;

Jekyll taunts my gasping mind -Hyde must not arrive.

My fingers grip the dancing blade, our victims at our feet;

the seeping red, infiltrates, wraps around our feet.

I plunge the dagger forward, my aim -at amiss;

Jekyll jerks his twisted head and grabs out for my chest.

I pull away -to my dismay, I fall down at his feet;

my dagger then escapes my hand and sinks into soft skin.

Hyde howls within my heart -Jekyll' curse' complete,

-my hand -his dagger, sears fresh blood; innocent souls bleed.

No more time, I could not move -Hyde trapped in;
