"Tap me into the local police comms." You tell your mom after you slice down a null sector bot. French rapidly pours into your ears as you analyze the scenario in front of you. "Can you pick out anything?"

"Running it through rapid translation...forces are converging on the main square. Make your way west." A explosion shakes the ground as you break into a sprint, heading towards the center of the action. You cut down a null sector trooper as you round a corner, scrap metal rattling on the ground behind you.

"They are getting cut to pieces down here!" You scream as gunfire rings out all around you. "I need a gun run to clear a path now!" A roaring sound rips across the sky and the ground in front of you erupts into dust as null sector bots are cut down.

"A small squadron is position a block south of you. Move to support." You rush down the road and catch sight of the police returning fire. You run over a car and use the back suspension as a springboard, propelling yourself into the air and over the defensive line. As you land, your sword pierces the ground and sends out waves of electricity in a circular pattern around you. Null sector bots crumble to the ground from the shock and the ones that do not soon fall victim to a sword effortlessly slicing through them. A bullet reflects off your back and you turn rapidly to see smoke leaving the barrel of an officers gun, an embarrassed look on their face, and the officer next to them pointing.

"It was an...accident." He says with a French accent.

"It's alright." You sigh. "Who is your commanding officer?" They kind of just shrug at you.

"We were organized until about two hours ago." A female officer responds. "We have been in disarray ever since."

"Are there any civilians in the area?" You ask.

"We have gathered them in the building behind us. Command wanted us to move them through the subway system and away from the city."

"This street seems clear for now. We need to get em moving."

"Closest entrance to a tunnel system is two blocks that way." An officer responds as they gesture down an alley.

"Estimated number of civilians?" You ask.

"About 75." An officer answers.

"I need heavy guns dropped in asap." You say over comms.

"What is coming? Who are you?" The female officer asks.

"We are the response to them." You say as you gesture to a pile of disabled null sector bots. "An old Overwatch alarm went off and we came to help."

"Overwatch? They are here? We are saved!" One exclaims.

"Eh not exactly." You respond as a few crates drop from the sky. "Just a sword wielding maniac and his hotshot pilot mother, but we did bring a lot of guns."

"Oh my." An officer says under their breath as you hand them a rocket launcher.

"Don't have time to go over an entire safety lesson, so I'll give you the simple one." You say as you hand out another launcher. "Each holds four rockets. A direct hit to a bot will destroy it. Call your target before firing in order to prevent wasted ammo and so you don't hit me. Ensure the area behind you is clear. Click. Fire. Boom."

"It's that simple? How do we reload?"

"We shouldn't burn through them all, but the right side will pop open and there will be a rotating chamber system like a revolver. Load it individually and then close it up."

"I should've called in sick today." One of the cops grumbles.

"And miss the chance to be a hero?" You ask. "Now let's get moving. Save your rockets. I'll call out the targets I want taken down, but let me do most of the damage to save ammo." The five officers stare at you, dumbfounded and confused.
