08. I-I am scared.

After dinner now Jimin is sitting on the couch which is on living room, he is waiting for Jungkook who is doing dishes after eating, Jimin said he can help him but he denied politely. Now he is anxiously waiting for Jungkook to come back.

"You should go for sleep, it's getting late. We will talk tomorrow." Jungkook said suddenly coming back from the kitchen making jimin jump. "And you don't have to be afraid of me." Jungkook said in a soft voice as he noticed how Jimin always flinch whenever he talk to him.

"T-Thankyou." Jimin softly wishpers looking at him with teary eyes and the officer can feel his heart thumps loudly in his chest.

Jungkook gave him a nod. "You should go." Jungkook said as he pointed his finger towards the other room, Jimin nodded and bowed to him then left from there.

Jungkook sighed nth time as he walked towards his own bedroom to get some rest.

"We are going to police station." Jungkook said as he picked up his things, and Jimin can feel goosebumps arises in his body.

"P-Police." Jimin mumbled in a very tiny voice but Jungkook sharp ears heard it.

"Yes, You will have to give a statement about what happened to you there." Jungkook can feel how scared the boy is looking. "Are you comfortable with that?" Jungkook asked looking at him with concern filled eyes.

When he woke up and after doing his morning routine and other works he realised that he is not alone in the house, when he remembered about Jimin he quickly checked on his room if he is okay just to found Jimin sleeping while sitting on the floor knees attached to his chest, his arms wrapped around his knees and face hidden in knees.

After observing him from some time Jungkook picked him up from the floor and put him in bed, so he can sleep comfortably. But as Jungkook put him in bed his eyes shot opened and he quickly gone in panick mode, but calmed down after he remembers how this officer saved him.

He immediately sat up on the bed yawning.

"Good Morning." Jungkook greeted him as he looked at him from up to down.

Jimin cheeks flustered as he noticed how the handsome officer eyeing him. "Good M-Morning." He greeted back playing with his sweater paws.

Jungkook hoodie is looking very big on him and his shorts is covering his half of legs, but nonetheless he is looking beautiful and more he loves it seeing Jimin in his clothes.

Cute. Jungkook heard in his mind a voice said but he quickly shooked his head.

After getting ready himself Jungkook give him time to freshen up, while he makes breakfast for Jimin.

Now they both living room and Jimin is very anxious, what is he gonna do now? He didn't have anywhere to go? He knows that the officer can't keep him forever!

Can he?

Jungkook tucked hin gun in his belt and picked up his car keys.

"Let's go." He said looking at Jimin whose heart is beating wildly in his chest.

He stood up with his shaky legs and walked behind Jungkook.

"O-Officer." Jungkook stopped in his track when he heard a tiny voice calling behind him, he quickly turned around to see Jimin standing looking down playing with his long sleeves.

"What happened Jimin?" Jungkook asked gently walking towards him observing the smaller man's behaviour who is looking very nervous.

"I- I am scared." Jimin mumbled as his voice trembled, tears welled up in his eyes, he looks at Jungkook and a tear fall from his eyes wetting his cheek.

Jungkook hesitantly places his hand on his shoulder giving a light squeeze to calm him down. "Don't be." He said wiping Jimin's tear away with his thumb. "I will be there." Jungkook wishpers as he held his one hand and they walked towards his car.

Jungkook's phone rings when they are on their way to station jungkook picked without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Um officer Jeon, it's me So Yeon." He heard from the other side of phone.

"Yes, Agent Kim. Do you want any help?" He asked as he parked his car in parking lot.

"Actually officer, I want to know about that boy?" She asked hesitantly and jungkook frowned not understanding anything. "Jimin." And his frown dissapeard when he heard the boys name, he glanced at the said boy to find him bitting his nails and his trembling legs in nervousness.

"Hmm, we are on the way. We will meet you there." Jungkook said in a tight voice which he normally used he don't know why but he felt something in his chest he can't say what is it. He hang up.

Why is she asking about him?

Is she knew him?

"We are here." He announced making jimin jump on his seat he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car to go another side he opened the door and found jimin is struggling in unbuckling the seatbelt he helped him.

"Let's go." He said walking in that's when he felt a light grip on his sleeve he looks and his hand and his heart skip few beats when he jimin is gripping his sleeve with his small hand as they walked.

Everyone in the station is shocked at the sight.

Ignoring all their gazes Jungkook walked towards his office with jimin behind him clutching on his sleeve, everyone saluted him as he is head inspector of this area.

"Who is that boy?" Another officer asked to his secretary who is also shocked.

"I don't know." The other man answers looking at the closed doors of Jeon's office.

"I think he is also the victim of human trafficking case." Another junior officer said as they all nodded their head in agreement.

"Hello, do you know where is officer Jeon?" They turned towards the voice.

"Oh, Agent So Yeon, he just came here with a boy, they are in officer Jeon's office." One of the officer replied her while other two gone for their duties.

"Thankyou." She nodded and left from there to Jeon's office.
