Y/Ns pov********
I wake up at 4:30 the next morning and get ready running to catch my train. And i once again
barely made it- sunday mornings are never fun people are going to church so its always
croweded . I sit down while putting my earbuds in. I already have messages from mia- asking if
im still coming. I reply with ‘Yup! On the train now-’ I lay my head back- im a little upset for not
getting enough sleep- that boy was keeping my thoughts up all night…. Wich caused me not to
sleep. I sigh as i let the music play in my head. To be honest it’s peaceful. Once the train has
stopped and i get off walking to the restaurant. It was still dark outside but thats fine. Once i get
into the building mia and i prepare the sitting area saying good morning as the cooks pile in. I
sigh as i make myself and mia a cup of coffee when i see a notifatcion on my phone. I open my
phone up and see its from a familiar purple hair boy.

Brain__Washer: Hey- so um…. I couldnt sleep at all- do you think i can swing by for some
coffee? :)
I smile at the text.
Ms.Demon cat: Sure! Im heree till 1:15. Stop by anytime!
Brain__Washer: Cool i’ll be there in a bit. Thanks Y/N 💜

“Who ya talking tooo” Mia says leaning over the counter trying to see who im texting. I pull my
phone to my chest. “None of your damn buisness” She laughs and i roll my eyes. “But i
waaaannaaaaa knoooow! Whos my bestie simping fooooor?” I blush a bit. “Shut up- im not
trying to have a crush on anyone right now-” She giggles coming around the counter getting the
coffee pot. “Girl- its ok to like someone new- you know? Hopefully they would accept you-” I
smile thinking about it. “He would- i know he would-” She smiles and pats inbetween my ears.
“Then i already like this man-” She gives me a thumbs up and walks away to her table. I put my
phone down and go back to my tables bringing the plates to them and appoligizing since i took a
second then i start bringing any refills of coffee or juices for the kids. A couple of hours later
around 11 the bell on the door rang. I was currently busy with a table and wasnt paying
attention. Mia came over says “Hey- customer at the coffee bar” I nod and walk back looking
down at my ticket. “Hello~ i’m Y/N i’ll be helping you today-” I look up as i finished my sentance
and see purple eyes staring back at me.
“Shinsou?” He smiles a bit and nods. “Hi Y/N” I smile as i turn around an pour a cup of coffee for
him. “Give me two minutes let me bring these drinks to my table and put their order in.” He nods
taking a sip of his coffee. I get the drinks ready and put them on a tray and bring them to the
table. Then going to give the food order to the chefs. I come back and stand infront of shinsou.
“It’s nice to meet you in person” He nods placing his coffee down on the table. “It is- isnt it?” I
smile a bit and nod. He’s much more good looking up close. “So- 1:15?” I nod grabbing a glass
of water. “Afterwards- would you like to walk around with me?” I look up from my glass of water
and look at him straight in his eyes. “Sure! I don’t have any plans for the rest of the day.” He
smiles and takes another sip of his coffee. “Y/N-” Mia stops in her tracks with a empty pot of
coffee. She looks at me then shinsou then back to me. She gives me the look of ‘is it him?’ I nod
She smiles and hands me the empty coffee pot “Rinse this out for me and brew another pot
please.” I take the coffee pot and hand her the almost full coffee pot and put the other one in the
sink then i start to wash it out drying it before starting the process of making a new pot.
She walks away after staring shinsou down. “Is she ok?” He ask looking actually worried. “Ya
shes fine-” I hear the bell in th kitchen go off. “I’ll be right back-” He nods as i go to the kitchen grabbing the multiple plates of food and bringing them to my tables. Then coming back and
standing in front of him. The whole restaurant smells of coffee now. “May i have more coffee
please?” Shinsou says pushing his cup towards me a bit. I turn around grabbing the pot and
pouring some in his cup. “Can i get you anything sir?” A Sly smirk appears on his lips.
“Hmmmm- i could take your number.” I roll my eyes and giggle. “Im sorry thats not on the menu
at the moment. It might be later tonight though-” He smiles “I’ll have to come back then-” I giggle
and i feel my tail swinging back and forth. We continue small talk and soon enough 1:15 comes
around. I go to the back room and change then clock out. Shinsou had already paid for the
couple cups of coffee he had. I walk outside after saying bye to her and my other co workers.
“You good?” I nod at shinsous question “So where are we going?” He thinks for a second “Do
you happen to like reading?” I nod as i follow him as he starts walking. “Then come- i’ll show
you one of the best book shops around.” I smile and follow next to him. “So- fashion?” I look
over at him “What about it?” He shrugs “I don’t know- um…. How did you get into it?” I think to
myself for a hot sec “Ive always loved to make my own dresses in the kid fashion books. I didnt
get serious completely till junior high-” He nods “So- do you follow the trends? Or like do you
enjoy fashion shows?” I shrug “Some trends i looooove but some i ignore. I go my own way”
She chuckles a bit at this
“Fashion shows tho- are iffy. Some shows are fabulous and magical but some are just outright
horrible” I giggle a bit. “On my instagram i saw a fashion show clip. It look like they were in
balloons and they deflated around the model. But looked liked a blueberry-”I laugh a little more.
He looks down at me and smiles. “How did the great shinsou know he wanted to be a hero?” He
smiles a bit more “Shinsou the greatest?” He laughs covering his face. And i join in with
laughing “To be honest ive always wanted to be a hero- My sensei now was my favorite hero
growing up. I always knew i wanted to be one,its like your story i didnt get into being a hero till
junior high. But i failed the entrance exam… but worked till i got in.” I smile at this. “Thats
amazing shinsou!”
After a bit more small talk we finally make it to the small bookshop “Ive always wanted to go
here for a while!” He opens the door and lets me in. “well- if you stopped by sooner you wouldve
met me sooner” I look at him confused. “I work here-” I nod at him looking at the multiple stacks
of books. Im looking at the horror books when he grabs my arm and pulls me to the corner of
the store. He lets go ands reaches up grabbing a book off the top of the shelf. “Here- we were
neer able to sell it,so you can have it” In my hands were a book of fashion throughout the years-
I smile and hug him “Thank you-” He gives me a simple smile. “Of course” After looking around
the store i grab a book and checkout. Then we leave an continue walking around.
“Ok hear me out- i hated my purple hair- i would dye it black constanly!” I laugh along with himas
we walk towards a small coffee shop to get some coffee and pastries. “Are you kidding me?!” I
laugh a bit harder grabbing his arm for support as he laughs a bit harder “N-No!” We stop in the
middle of the sidewalk and calm ourselves down “Dude- i wouldve killed for purple hair when i
was younger!”

“Your kidding! I wouldve killed for hair like yours!” We look at eachother and smile.”For real-
wouldve killed for purple anything!” He looks at me and tilts his head. “Purples my favorite
color-” I look at him and see him covering half his face “You ok?” He nods. Once we get to the
shop i open the door and let him in. “Thank you m’lady” He walks in waiting for me to walk in.
and once i get in we walk to the counter. “Just a black coffee and a lemon cupcake.” The lady
nods. “I’ll take a caramel frappe with a lemon cupcake.” She nods putting it in and then tells us
our total.
I started to look for my money before shinsou continued to pay. She gave back his change and
we went and sat down. “You didn't have to pay for me idiot-” He rolls his eyes “And? I wanted to”
I sigh “Well thank you-” He nods going onto his phone. Literally seconds later i get a notifacaiton
from instagram
Brain__Washer: You look nice 💜
I look back at him smiling “Well thank you” He looks up smiling “Your welcome-” He flushes a bit
“You can tell me to my face- Or are you just shy~” He turns bright red as the lady brings us are
drinks and cupcakes. I dig into my cupcake since it looks so delicious. I moan with the taste and
shinsou giggles. “Is it that good?” I nod licking the frosting off my fingers. “They are very good-”
Shinsou says biting into the cupcake. He looks back to me and points to his nose. I look at him
confused. He reaches over and swipes my nose the wipes his hands off on a napkin “You had
frosting on your nose- like a little kid.”
I turn red covering my face. “Thats so embarrassing-” He laughs whole heartedly. “Shut up!” He
covers his mouth still laughing I roll my eyes feeling my face cooling down as i take a sip from
my drink. “Do you not like black coffee?” I nod “Its waayyyyyy to bitter for me” He nods. “I
expected that- i mean you got the drink with the most sugar in it” I kick him under the table and
he flinches going to grab his leg “Ow!” I shrug “I dont know who did that.” He scoffs as he rubs
the spot where i kicked him. “So- i was wondering- if we canget to know eachother a little
more…with simple questions” I nod putting my drink down “Ok- well you already know my
favorite color. What else do you wanna know.”
“Whats your favorite animal?” I think for a second “Black puma’s or if you count snakes then a
rainbow boa” He nods. “A snake? Ew-” I gasp dramaticly “How dre you! Rainbow boa’s are
stunning!” He rolls his eyes. “Why a black puma?” I take a sip of my drink. “Black pumas are
stunning beutiful creatures. The black fur and the camoflage black spots are very pretty. Plus-
they are my favorte cat to turn into.” He nods “You’ll have to show me one day-” I nod now
excited to show him my multiple forms. “Whats the great shinsous favortie animal?” He drinks
the coffee that he had in his mouth. “Just simple house cats” I laugh a bit. This man is literally
just the cutest. “Did you just say tht because you like meeee~” He laughs a bit covering the
bottom of his face as he starts to turn pink. “N-No! I always liked cats! Can you blame me?Your
so fluffy and so cute-” I blush a bit as he scratches the back of his neck. “Well- arent you lucky
to know me~” I turn into a regular cat jumping under the table climbing on his lap. I look at him and he’s bright red but has so much love in his eyes. “Oh my god your so cute!” He picks me up
carefully and sits me on his chest wrapping his arms around me. I lay my head on him and start
purring. “Is this your actual cat form? Your half white and black- a straight line seperating the
colors.” I let out a simple meow while picking my head up. He smiles and starts to scratch right
behind my ear. Now purring even louder without relizeing i turn back to human form “Y-Y/n….”
“Hm?” i look at him his liliac eyes meeting my golden ones. “Y-youre sitting on my lap-” I nod “I
can get off if you want-” I start standing up but he pulls me back down with the grip he still had
around my waist. “N-no it’s fine!” He reaches over and grabs my drink sliding it back to me. I
smile grabbing it taking small sips of it. We fall in to a comfortable silence as we try finishing our
drinks. Only one of his arm are around my waist while the other is gripping his drink. I smile a bit
to myself liking this whole situation. I finish my drink and lay my head on his shoulder as he
starts to trace circles on my waist. I swore i hear a click go off- like a camera shutter but i put it
aside thinking it was him hitting his cup on the plate. “You wanna head to the park?” I nod
getting up waiting for him. As we walk out and down the street, he grabs my pinkie and
interlocks it with his.
You know what- i think purple really does suit me.
