First shown in the nearly three-minute trailer of the Doctor G movie is Ayushmann Khurrana as Dr Uday Gupta, who is feeling uncomfortable when he asks a patient to undress so he may make a proper diagnosis in a medical setting.

He is a medical student with aspirations of becoming an orthopaedic surgeon, yet he seems uncomfortable among female patients. When he finds himself the lone male student in gynaecology, his love interest and coworker Rakul Preet Singh becomes the target of some harmless ragging.

Doctor G movie is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. Sheeba Chaddha and Shefali Shah have key roles in the movie. Shefali Shah is also a doctor in the movie, her name is Nandini. She is Ayushmann Khurrana's senior.

Rakul Preet Singh guarantees the movie can be seen with family. She said 'It won't feel vulgar.' The actress has five movie releases this year and all from different genres.

The site even said that it had good intentions but not so good on the entertainment front. The reports that this figure could rise to between Rs 70 lakh and Rs 80 lakh, but it still isn't enough to satisfy Ayushmann.
