(CORALINE) Wybie x Fem!Reader

part 4!! || ( banana slugs )

POV 

"Y/N, i'm off to work. Make sure to eat something alright? and don't wander off too far!" dad said before getting onto the car and driving to work. I groaned, i was tired and bored. it's very very foggy and Wybie probably won't come and hang out with me.

I sat down on the couch and watched some television then i heard the doorbell. "ring! ring!"

i quickly got off and opened the door. then i saw Wybie with his weird mask waving at me. 

"hey y/n! you wanna hunt some banana slugs with us? we haven't done that in a while." he asked. "sure! but with us? what do you mean?" i said confused,  then the familiar cat popped out of wybie's coat and meowed at me. i then petted the cat and scratching his head saying "ohh, i see! you brought our little cutie cat didnt you?" the cat then purred again. Then when you stopped petting, you notice Wybie staring at you admiring you while you pet the cat. You shrugged and put on the helmet as you three drove to the pink palace.

you both got near the pink palace and Wybie gave you an extra mask just to see clearly in the fog. Then, you noticed Coraline with a hat walking out of a door. 

"hey, look! it's coraline!" i said quietly while giving Wybie a pat on the shoulder. he turned and noticed her aswell, you both quietly crouched and made sure she doesn't see us and think we're creeps. 

we saw coraline heading our way, we quickly went back down into the fog and hid. but then Coraline grabbed Wybie's tube eye seeing thing and Wybie screamed in shock. Coraline then exclaimed "great! the village stalker and his.. girlfriend!" me and wybie both looked at each other and he was blushing a lot. To avoid making things awkward, i said "no, we weren't stalking you! us three were just collecting banana slugs!" i said while patting on wybie's fluffy hair embarrassing him.

"uh, what do you mean, us 3?" Coraline asked. then the cat meowed and popped out of Wybie's coat and onto his shoulder. "awee!" you said clapping your hands together. "Ha! your cat's not wild. He's a wuss puss!" Coraline said with a smug. the cat hissed and i gasped "he's not a wuss puss!" i yelled while hugging the cat and death staring at Coraline. Wybie then also defended and said "yeah, he just hates to get his foot wet, jeez!" he said before putting his mask back on.

"wuss puss~" i heard coraline saying in a teasing tone again and i swear im about to lose it.

however Wybie calmed me down by giving me a tong and basically telling me to find banana slugs with him and ignore her.

"so, that doll. did you make it look like me?" coraline asked. 

"oh, no. we found it that way." I said, "it's older than grandma, old as this house! probably." Wybie added.

"come on, blue hair, my swampers and raincoat?" she asked. i mean, she does make a point. it looks like just like her! but i just ignored her and kept looking for slugs.

"dang! check out slugzilla!!" wybie said shoving the banana slug to me trying to scare me. I chuckled and said "stop!" before shoving them away. "wow, your just like them!" coraline said looking at us both. we stared at her confused and wybie made a "huh?" sound. while looking at the slug. "i mean my parents! they dont listen to me either."

i can't help but feel a little bad for Coraline. I then grabbed a camera from Wybie's coat and gave it to Coraline. "Hey, why don't we take some pictures, huh?" I said giving her a warm smile. Coraline grabbed the camera and took some pictures of us. 

after that, we were just standing and looking at the pictures we took. "heh! you look cute in this one Y/N!" wybie said while pointing on a picture of me laughing with wybie and coraline. "awe, you look cute too, you little goofball." i said nudging wybie while he blushed a bit.

then there was a silence. "you know, i've never been to the pink palace before." wybie said looking at the ground and carrying his mask on his arms. "your kidding." Coraline said. "grandma would kill me! besides, the only times i've been NEAR the pink palace was when me and Y/N pulling pranks on your neighbors. My grandma said it's dangerous." wybie spoke again.

"dangerous?" Coraline questioned. "well, Y/N you probably know about this but. My grandma used to have a twin sister, and one day when they were kids. My grandma's sister disappeared." Wybie said, "yeah, and she said she was stolen right?" I said. 

"stolen?" Coraline questioned again.

We all then went to the front porch and got our bike. "Well, what do you guys think?" Coraline asked. "Well, i don't know. Maybe she ran away?" Wybie said. "Or... maybe she just got lost in the forest!" I exclaimed. Then all a sudden we hear Wybie's grandma yelling "wyborne!" again. 

"listen, we gotta go." Wybie said while getting on the bike. The cat jumped onto my shoulder and i got onto the bike aswell. "hey wait a minute!" Coraline said but we just drove pass her.
