White Chrysantemums ( LeAga Short Story )

Part 1

"Daddyyyy" Chrysan shouted running to the office room of her dad inside the house.

"Hi baby," Ariel greeted her daughter and kissed her cheeks that made the little girl giggled "Change your clothes muna baby" Ariel said when he noticed that Chrysa was still wearing her school uniform.

"No! You promise me that you'll make your kwento finish na. I like it, daddy. What happened to Aga and Lea?" Chrysan asked and climbed to his father's lap to sit.

"Okay pero pagkatapos nito you'll take a shower na ah, ang baho mo baby" Ariel tease her

"I'm not mabaho no. Go na kwento na please" Chrysa pleaded and showered her dad's face with kisses

"What's wrong babes?" Aga asked when he found that Lea was quiet since this morning. They are heading to the church. That was the first thing they did before they went on a date. Lea only gives him a small smile.

"What did you pray for, babes?" Lea asked as soon as Aga finished his prayer. He then sat beside her and held her hand.

"That you will stay by my side forever and never leave me alone. Kasi pag nangyari yun? Di ko alam ang gagawin ko." Aga replied and kissed her on her forehead "It's your turn." He said and helped her down on her knees.

Lea looks at the cross in front of her before she closes her eyes. Whispering in the air all her prayers and secretly wiping her tears so Aga won't notice it. Saying thank you to god for giving him the man she deserves to be with and she will do her best everyday to make Aga feel that he deserves her too. After thanking, saying sorry, and asking forgiveness to god, she then finally smiled and finished her prayer.

"What's with the smile babes?" Aga asked. He found it weird that Lea was shifting mood.

She clung to Aga's arms and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I have something to tell you babes, but don't freak out and shout here okay?" She looked up to him and saw his nervous face. She pursed her lips and stopped herself from laughing.

"I- I promise- wait, is that bad for good?" Aga asked. Sweat is forming on his forehead and Lea notices it. She chuckled.

She give a pick on his lips and cupped his both cheeks "It's depend on how you will think about it when I tell you" Lea reply

"Okay? - sabihin mo na babes kinakabahan na ako eh!" Aga reply and wipe is sweats

"I'm pregnant" Lea finally says it. She thinks this is the best time to tell him. She trust God enough at ipinaubaya na niya ang lahat sa kanya.

Aga froze. He tried to process what he heard. Lea on the other side feeling anxious. Aga is not saying anything and she still didn't know if he was happy with it or not.

"This is not a prank right babes?" Aga asked her. Lea nods. "No it's not" Lea replied and gave him a small smile.

Napapikit naman ng mata si Lea ng biglang tumayo si Aga. She thought Aga would shout but seconds later she felt Aga hugging her waist crying.

"Thank you babes. Baby be good ka ha. Daddy will take care of you and mommy para pag labas mo healthy ka." Aga whispers to her tummy and kisses it.

"Babes di ka pa niyan naririnig i'm just 4 weeks pregnant." Lea said and giggled. "I really thought di mo siya tatanggapin" Lea said

"Babes bakit mo naman naisip yun? I won't leave you whatever happens okay? Lalo na ngayon. I'll arrange may schedule sa company na para maalagaan ko kayo dalawa ni baby. At kukuha na tayo ng katulong wag ka na mag ayaw ayoko ko ma stress at mapagod ka." Lea left with no choice. Although she was surprised that Aga already has a plan after the announcement just a minute ago.
