Scrubbing down the counters, you did everything you could to take your mind off of what happened. You squeezed water out of the sponge you were using, spilling soapy water off the table.

"Shoot..." You snapped out of your thoughts and cleaned up the water on the table and floor

You started doing the dishes in the kitchen, every other sound you drowned out.

'There has to be something else to do around here, there has to-'

"Suuuuuusie!!!"

Startled, I ran and opened the door to the kitchen and saw Elizabeth and Henry walking back into the main room.

In Elizabeth's hands was a small bowl filled to the brim with ice cream. It's really sweet she wanted to cheer up her friend.

"...Susie?"

Along with Elizabeth, you noticed that Susie was infact, not in the main room.

A small bag was left on the table. Elizabeth's expression turned to a sad one and she began to complain about not getting to say goodbye.

You walked a out of the kitchen and approached them.

"Susie's ponies-" Elizabeth picked up the small bag. "She-she always has them with her. She wouldn't ever leave them behind..."

She then noticed you walking towards her.

"Y/N, have you seen Susie?" Her eyes only grew more sad and she looked up at you.

"No, I haven't." You responded.

Elizabeth began to untie the bag when Henry stepped in.

"She was probably just in a hurry to leave and forgot them by accident. We can return them to her tomorrow."

"No! You don't understand!!" Elizabeth cried.

She dumped Susie's toys out onto the table.

"This isn't right..."

She inspected each one of them carefully.

"Baby Moon-dancer isn't here..." Sweat ran down the side of her face.

"Uncle Henry I- something awful must've happened Susie!! We have to go find her!!"

"Actually, William might know where she is." You held your hands together.

They both looked back at you with a small amount of hope and relief.

"Well, where is he?" Henry asked.

"I-I don't know, but I can certainly go look." And with that, you turned around and left to the back.

Your shoes left an echo when you walked down the desolate hallway. It got darker the more you went down. It felt as if you had been walking for hours.

You checked the arcade first.

"Susie?" You called out. No response.

Even so, you decided to make sure nobody was there.

------------

After a fruitless search, you departed from the grease-smelling, neon room.

You slowly made your way towards the back. The last room to check around here was the back room that was usually used for storage. Sometimes William went to hang out around there.

You approached the door carefully. It was left open slightly. You could swear you could hear some noises from inside.

'What would Susie be doing back here?' You thought.
