Surprise!

The only thing on your mind was Sav. He had been on tour for the whole summer  and due to your own work commitments you couldn't fly out and see him. He called you every single day, and you answered day or night. You couldn't not answer his calls.

He had given you a message that read 'I'm about to board the flight home, see you soon love. xx' at 8pm. After doing some math you figured out he would land home in Sheffield at 7am, so being the cute wife you were, you decided to meet him at the airport to pick him up.

Your alarm was blaring in your ear at 6am, far too early for you, but not too early for Sav. You got yourself together and headed for the airport with Diamond Star Halos keeping you entertained.

At 7am sharp he messaged you again, 'That's the plane landed, I'll be home soon. xx'

The second you got the message you stepped out the car and headed in to find your husband.

You stood waiting near the front of the gate in hopes that he would see you waiting for him, ready to finally take him home.

People started walking past you away to meet their own loved ones and you couldn't help but feel a little jealous. You were looking at another couple reuniting and you felt a wave of sadness and guilt. What if you were at the wrong gate? What if you missed him walking by? What if-

There was a pair of arms grabbing you from behind, you were ready to scream until you realised whos arms they were.

"Sav!" You turned around to face him and there he was smiling right back at you.

"This is a nice surprise!" He said into your neck.

"I've got the car outside, lets go." You told him.

He took a hold of your hand and grabbed his bag with the other as you lead him out to the car.

"Diamond Star Halos huh?" He asked you as you started to pull out of the parking space.

"You sound shocked."

"No no, just.. touched I suppose." He said, putting his hand over yours on the gear stick.

When you got home Sav headed straight for the bedroom, leaving his bags at the bottom of the stairs. You followed him up and he was already laid on the bed in nothing but his joggers.

"C'mere love." He said to you holding his arm out. You lay down beside him putting your arms around him and kissing his bicep.

"I've missed you so much Sav." You whispered to him, the room was silent apart from his heartbeat in your ear.

"I missed you too my love, you're coming next time." He said, kissing the top of your head.

"Missed you alot at night too." He said with that look on his face.

"Sleep first Sav, don't want you passing out on top of me" you giggled.

"Alright, I love you Y/N." He said while pulling you closer.

"I love you too Sav."
