We meet thr Ace of Games, Kenta Ryuuji, as he and his friend Miko try getting some Buddyfight cards. However, as Kenta opens a pack a Buddy Monster, known as Gargantua Dragon appears before Kenta, and now what's going to happen.

Kenta and Miko were shocked for Kenta to open up a buddy rare card.
Kenta: My Buddy?.....
As Kenta stares in shock at Gargantua Dragon, his mind flashbacks to a certain scene in his life where his head was being pat by a someone.
???: Don't worry, Sport. After you open up the present you won't have to feel lonely ever again.
Miko: Kenta?
The flashback ends as Miko called out to Kenta snapping the young boy out of his Flashback trance.
Kenta: Yeah, sorry about that.
Kenta then turns his attention to Gargantua Dragon, he extends his hand to Gargantua Dragon.
Kenta: Nice to meet you Garga, I hope we can be great buddies.
Garga: You missed understood boy.
Kenta: Huh?
Garga: I may have appeared through your card, however I still fo not recognise you as my buddy
Kenta: Why not?
Miko: Yeah, you did come from Kenta's card.
Garga: That may be the case, however if you truly want to be my buddy the you'll have to prove your mettle.
Kenta: My mettle?
Garga: Yes, and I believe a worthy opponent for such a trial has arrived.
Kenta: Opponent?
Garga turned to his attention to the sky along with Kenta and Miko. The two were surprised at who was in the sky. It was a young teenager boy with flaming blue hair, wearing a buddy Police uniform and green flames coming out of his shoes, flying in the sky, with a green armored bipedal dragon with large wings, small arms that gives the dragon a dinosaur look, and a a giant blade sheathed on its head.

Kenta: No way, Tasuku Ryuenji and his buddy Jackknife Dragon of the Buddy Police!!
Garga: I see, one of the chosen warriors that have once used my blade.
The statement got a questioning look from Kenta and Miko, while Tasuku and Jack gained a surprise look. However, Jack and Tasuku quickly recovered and landed on the ground.
Tasuku: Considering that this monster appeared before both of you, I'm guessing that one of you is this one's buddy.
