A MAN TREKS through the dense woods, two babies with the carrier on his chest.

He had thrown all electronics in a hole, burying them with no remorse. He had light hair and brownish eyes that seemed absolutely determined with each step. He carried many packs on his back, so much so that he had to lean forward to keep himself from losing balance.

The boy had on a hat, while the girl had on a blanket. The-- what appeared to be-- father had driven and walked miles from the nearest city, his brown-honey eyes glancing down at his confused babies.

The young girl giggles, reaching up and patting her father's cheek. "Yeah, you're a silly one. Gonna be a good big sister, right, Y/n?" He asked rhetorically.

The baby giggled, her wings peering out at the center of her shoulder blades with her ears bearing fluffy feathers. The boy had little nubbies and deer-like ears hidden under his hat.

The man sighed in relief, coming across an abandoned cabin. He placed his children down in a crib, repairing the house.

....

He got rid of bushes and branches, along with annoying dead and smelly flowers up above the roof.

"Stay right there," He pants towards his children, dragging a particularly large bushy branch across the grass.

....

He laughed in victory as the water wheel began to turn slowly. "Yes..! Ahhh!" He shouts in victory, raising his arms.

As he opened his eyes again, he groaned at the sight of a still-frozen water wheel. "Aw.." He huffs out.

He carefully puts up a fence, looking at the height. Note to self: Don't teach his daughter how to fly in case she runs off...

Gus crawls around and Y/n joins him, her fluffy and small mass of wings fluttering around curiously as she watched her brother younger by a year.

....

Gus wears a tiny onsie. Y/n's clothes consist of an altered onsie so that her wings (which were larger than her) could tuck in. Unlike a normal bird's, her wings fold twice to rest comfortably against her back to keep hidden. Her feathery ears perked up at the sound of scraping as the man known as her and Gus's dad creates green grass on a page for the future.

The two youngest were kept Sage on a crib, the room lit up by the warm fireplace.

It says in blocky bubble letters.

Gus coos happily, facing his father. "Pubba.." He murmurs. Y/n giggles lightly. "Pubba." She mimics.
