Ningguang sat comfortably in her seat, shoveling through her work as usual. Rechecking or just looking at new work. Each movement was important to her. It wasn't like she could stare at the ticking clock all day.

An noise occurs, startling her. "Oh lady Ningguang!" A cheerful woman calls. The tiquan sighs, slightly delighted. She could recognize the voice and the face. That was enough to make her happy. The brunette made her way towards the desk and decided to take a seat.

"Hello, Captain Beidou, what brings you here?" the silver hair woman glances at the captain's gleeful expression. It looked as if she was about to burst with excitement.

"Well," Beidou giggles, "I was hoping we could do something special tonight." Her face reddened, suddenly becoming shy. What's with the sudden mood change?

Ningguang smirks before looking back down and signing more documents. "Oh really? And just what do you want to do with me, Captain?" Beidou blushes even more and struggles to confess. Just a simple request could be taken the wrong way with just a tone of voice.

Beidou shifted her eyes around the room in embarrassment. "I was thinking a date, of course, only if you're interested." she chirped back. Beidou wasn't the type to be so shy, so she tried not to hint that she felt slightly intimidated at the moment.

"A date?" Ningguang repeated, "Tonight?" Beidou nodded and began giving an evil grin. She was thinking completely other thoughts, but unfortunately Ningguang didn't get the hint.

"Do you think you'd be ready by then? I promise I'll treat you really well.." Beidou raised the tension between the two. Her tone changed completely, now sounding more confident. Ningguang finally understood.

Her face began turning red as well. "Beidou you mustn't tease me while I'm working, you know I can't have any distractions." she shook her head in disappointment.

The captain finalized her visit with her last words. "I'm coming at nine. See you then, My lady Ningguang." her voice uttering a laughter under her breath.

The nerve of that woman. Ningguang thought to herself. It was no wonder how she's gotten in trouble so many times with the law. Their little dates were supposed to make up for it. They didn't, but Ningguang never said anything because she enjoyed the dates.

The dates consisted of traveling or playing chess. The things the two loved to do by themselves and even more together. It was hard to even have time for these dates unfortunately. Beidou often disappeared for trading processing and Ningguang often worked on making sure that processing doesn't get messed up.

Still, they cherished these little dates. It was their escape from everybody else. The moment where they could actually say 'I love you' without anyone to say anything. Good or bad. They loved each other, even when they knew they couldn't be together. The safety and reputation was to much to risk.

Most people were completely blind to the situation and they never really had an issue. Rumors went around, but hardly anyone believes those. Which is why they want to keep their 'dates' a secret, just in case it does become an issue.

Though she was afraid that Beidou had other things in mind for the two of them. Not that she wouldn't like them, there was just something that was going to happen tonight. Something that she only knew about. Ningguang, the tiquan, richest woman in tevyat, and any other title there was for her, was a raging monster.
