"You Don't Need Me"

You don't see the way it hurts me when he says he loves you.

You don't feel the way my heart aches when you speak of his kiss.

You don't know the tears that flow from my eyes are because you love another.

You simply do not know that I love you.

You don't need to know, though, because you love another.

You don't need to get over him; I need to get over you. 

You don't need the love I long to show you. 

You don't need me like I need you.

You don't need my love. You are my best friend.
