Chapter 1 The Greeting

Once upon a time

Just kidding.

This is NOT a fairy tale this could be considered the opposite of a fairy tale. This stars a 15 year old girl named Melony. She is rambunctious, rude, and full of curiosity. She is also dumb, I don't feel bad about saying that because she says it all the time. She fails almost every class. There are two reasons she hasn't stayed back ONCE. First, she is so beautiful and popular half the teachers love her. The other half can't stand to have her again. Melony was a crazy teenager without a care in the world. Up until the fourth semester of 9th grade. Her parents usually didn't care about Melony's grades or anything, until her moms birthday. Melony got her parents a "how to be better parents" book, just to be rude, and she had been reading it nonstop ever since. All the bad qualities of being a bad parent showed up in Melony. Her mom started FREAKING OUT! This was going to be a problem.

Chapter 2 The Dad

Maria (Melony's mom) ran into the kitchen where Jack (Melony's dad) was. She showed him all the awful things in the book. Jack was what some people would call "chill" and all the sain people would say he doesn't care about anyone or anything. He only had one talent and that was not letting his not caring attitude show towards Maria. So when Maria told him this he acted like it was a big deal, like he really cared. And he did care this was one of the only things he cared about, but for the wrong reasons. Jack had always wanted to get rid of Melony, ever since she turned into a teenager and got this horrible attitude. And although Jack was lazy he was smart. He now had the perfect plan to get rid of Melony. First, he had to get Maria even more freaked out. Then he would shrewdly put the idea of sending Melony to a stay the night summer camp for Melony's grades. When her grades don't improve they can ground her during the school semesters and then send her to the camp. Next he has to find a school that won't help Melony at all. Jack had a feeling it wouldn't be too hard.

Chapter 3 The Plan

Every day Jack scared Maria more and more, ever so gently hinting about sending Melony away. It was difficult though since the book said the best thing to do was spend a bunch of time with Melony, even though Melony hated that and so did her mom. After a week Jack knew it was time to tell Maria abut the camp. He found the perfect one. Called camp of fine arts, because it takes place in the museum of fine arts in Boston. It's a great museum but it only got 1/2 a star for it's camp. Also they have to wear uniforms which he knew Melony would hate! When Jack explained this to Maria he said the only reason it got such a bad rating was because the kids voted, and they were upset because their hole lives changes, but eventually they grew to love it. Maria was one of the dumbest people you would ever meet. She immediately believed it and ran up to Melony's room and started shouting then 5 seconds later crying then shouting again. It was not a good approach for telling your daughter she has to leave. The worst part was Maria had to explain it all again because Melony couldn't understand a word she was saying.

Chapter 4 The Angry Teen

Melony stayed in her room for 4 days. She got out to get food go to the bathroom and pretend to go to school, when really she climbed back in her window. On the 5th day she came outside of her room, stood in front of her parents and screamed. Not words just this ear piercing scream, like she had just got stabbed in the back. All the dogs in the neighborhood howled, the children cried, and her mom fainted. Her dad sat there with a wicked smile on his face. He knew that she realized this was done by him, and he was enjoying it. Melony stood there scowling at her father for almost 2 minutes before she realized her mom had just fainted! She got a ice pack and put it on her head while her dad did nothing. Then of course when she woke up he had her hand in his and put his other hand on top of her head like he had just been stroking her hair, very concerned. Ugh Melony couldn't stand to look at him any more, she truly hated him, and he would hate him even more after the camp. Melony went up to her room and went over to her calendar. She had been checking off days until she had to leave. 1 more week, she had to make this week count.

Chapter 5 Forever Lasting Week

Day 1 of the forever lasting week, Monday. Melony came out of her room and skipped school again. Melony had called the teacher pretending to be her mom saying she has a severe case of chicken pox and would be out for a very long time. She started by going to her best friend Emily's house. She was also a rebel and skipped school every Monday, yet her parents could never find out where she went and could never catch her. The went around taking the top of mailboxes off there post and then putting a stick note on it that had Melony's name since she didn't care anymore. That lasted them the whole day and they got home before there parents were home. Tuesday, Melony was on her own so she took her dads car out. Every day he drives to work with Maria, so Melony grabbed his keys and started up the car. The engine sounded like the purring of a cat. She didn't really go anywhere she just liked the idea of driving, and going behind her parents backs. Wednesday was a relaxing day. After everything she was super tried, she almost forgot to wake up and pretend to leave, that would have ruined everything. So she stayed in bed all day, asleep. Thursday, Melony took her dog Bear, a beautiful male German Shepard mixed with chow, in the car with her. She put him in front of the wheel and she controlled it from the passenger seat. Friday it again because it was so much fun, and Friday Melony crashed.

Chapter 6 The Leg

Melony screamed, this time louder than when she screamed at her parents. She looked down the blood was spraying out everywhere. She was laying in a pool of her own blood. Not only had her leg been hurt, she had a giant gash on her head. She had hit a light post, only her in the crash. No one stopped for her, Melony was really disappointed in mankind right now. After what felt like an hour, but was really 20 minutes, a lady with a cowboy hat, and a piece of hay in her mouth drove up in a red truck. "Holy cow" she said. "I don't have a cellular device". "In the car" I said. She got it out and took 5 minutes calling 911. They finally came and took Melony to the hospital, the county lady came with her. She started talking to her while riding in the abulance. Just simple things like her name was Jacky, she had a very country accent. They got to the hospital and she called her parents. They came, and Melony was going to have to have a cast. Her leg was broken, and it was going to take 5 months to heal. Great now she was going to this awful camp and had a broken leg, Melony was having a great week.
Chapter 7 Deportation
Melony said goodbye to Jacky, almost sad for some reason. She barely knew her yet she wanted her to stay. They got back home and Melony really thought her parents would cancel the camp. But they didn't Melony had a feeling that they didn't want to have to take care of her. So she got on the plane to Boston and left. She fell a sleep during the 4 hour plane ride and then quickly got a cab to find her room. The camp bought everyone a room at hotel New York. She had to room with a girl named Mallisa. She was super weird. She had 3 braids on the right side of her head and the other side looked like it had never been combed in her life. She was 10 and really smart. Apparently she had moved up to 8th grade so she was doing summer homework. She talked alot. Melony sat in her bed all day reading a magazine. She fell asleep super early she knew she was going to have a long day tomorrow.
Chapter 8 Walk
Melony got up in the mourning and stayed in bed staring up at the ceiling for 10 minutes. Then she got ready to go. She walked over to the muesam. She tried to make this walk last for ever, taking at least one second between each short stride. She was just prolonging the inevitable. She would have to get to the muesam, so she took a deep breath and started walking at a normal pace. Just when she was starting to feel better she heard a yelling from behind her. It was Mallisa running to catch up with. "Great" Melony said pretending not to hear her and walk slightly faster, but Mallisa caught up quickly. Melony told herself she hated her for being too talkative, but really she hated her for being young, still being able to turn her life around. Melony it was too late, she was an awful child and an awful student. "Hi are you exited for our first day, I'm exited I'm really excited..." Mallisa went on and on without realizing that Melony couldn't care less. It was a painful 15 minute walk getting to the muesam.
The first thing Melony saw when walking in, chilled her to the bone, it was...
