mia starfury wasn't supposed to be a good person. her dad was the ceo of the starfury company, and everyone knew how horrible of a person he was. she knew personally. she wasn't even going to inherit the stupid business, even though she's the oldest, because apparently her sister, sophia, was better than her in every way, shape, and form. it would've broken them apart if mia hadn't literally saved her life one day, making them as thick as thieves despite the fact that they weren't full siblings, and that every summer since she was eleven, mia never stayed in that mansion with her "family" anymore. how could she, when camp half-blood existed?
even if her home life wasn't good, mia had other support systems. she had her friends in school. she had her friends in camp half-blood. but when percy jackson came, she was drawn to him. it helped that he knew annabeth chase, her best friend, quite well. so when he asked her to go on a quest with him, she agreed. and slowly, she started falling for him and going on more adventures with him . . .
when her entire world blew up with a threat and the proposition that came with it.
