I wake up to Gemma jumping onto my bed next to me.
"Good morning to you too." I turn over so I'm lying on my back rather than my stomach, and Gemma moves over so she is lying on top of me.
"I had the worst sleep ever." She lies her head in the crook of my neck, groaning at the lack of sleep.
"Something on your mind or just couldn't get to sleep?"
"You'd think it would get easier sleeping in a room of people but as the days go by I'm becoming more and more aware of how many people are not only in here but also watching from home. The idea of doing something embarrassing is kinda scaring me, I don't want to do something that will affect my reputation at my competitions."
"I get it. There are always going to be risks here, try to keep a clear head and don't let things get to you. As long as you continue to come across as well, there shouldn't be any harm done to your reputation." She nods and lies back down, shutting her eyes for a few minutes before everyone gets up and starts moving.
"Go on then Hadlee, what's the game plan for today?" I lie on the floor of the terrace, wanting the space to stretch without hitting any of the girls.
"Absolutely nothing. I don't know when I'll get to recouple but I'm not gonna try and force a conversation with someone for the sake of it. If we have a good conversation, alone or in a group, great but I'm not speed dating. I have a type and I can already see who suits my type." The girls nod at my answer, it's clear that a few of the girls are trying to find out who I want to couple up with so they don't lose a partner but, let's be real, it'll happen eventually and I'm not gonna avoid the guy I like because another girl is coupled up with them.
It just happens to be easier for everyone that I like Luca most out of the boys and he and Paige aren't exactly progressing in their couple.
"How about everyone else? Are you sticking with your current boys or are you going to graft with the others?" The girls go through their plans and it seems like most of them aren't happy in their couple, or aren't making as much progress as they would want to.
