Prompt: Imagine that your high school or college has been overrun with zombies. Your math professor, the cafeteria ladies, and even your best friend have all joined the walking dead. Flesh out a plan to avoid the zombies, including where you'd hide and the top-five things you'd bring to stay alive. do this in 250 words or less.

It was the middle of the school day when it started. What started you ask, the groaning. At first my class thought it was just the terrible AC but as time went on it got louder. One moment I was doing math and the next I was running home trying to avoid the definitely not normal people around me. Of course, like any normal person I was prepared for this, at home I had a bag, a military-grade one, packed with a portable filter, a carving/hunting knife, a flint block, and a fishing kit. The bag or survival kit was made after I had read a post-apocalyptic book and had, in my opinion, everything to cover the basics, food, water, and warmth, shelter I could make easily. My next move was to get to the barn I work at, I would need the horses there for transportation and it was in the forest away from civilization. The survival skills I had picked up in my life had started to kick in, basically all the time I spent as a kid running barefoot around a forest and doing stupid life choices. I knew my friends and family would be smart enough to look for me at the barn if they were still alive, the phones had decided to quit working. The sun was at about midday so that left me a few hours to get moving, and so off I went into a world that had turned against me.
