It's no secret that those living in poverty suffer from malnutrition. The solution is as simple as it is complex.

Making real and lasting change requires creating well-paid jobs and breaking our culture of poverty. It requires investment in education.And what about the devil? It turns out that the devil isn't an imaginary boogeyman we've been told to fear for generations. The devil doesn't actually exist. But the devil does create a wealth gap between the poorest and richest in the United States.Actually, this gap isn't new. The devil created this wealth gap in the late 1700s.In 1769, the American economy had already grown substantially. People began investing in new ideas. People started producing products that were available to people who had very little to invest in goods. These products also helped those with more to invest invest in the economy more. The devil then emerged from people who had a lot invested in that new economy. The devil helped them reap a lot of money.But soon, people like the devil started trying to steal from the masses. In fact, it seems that no one has a problem stealing from those who have so little in order to gain more.Something has to be different. Something must change. The question is, what?This devil did it. This devil created a lot of wealth. But that wealth wasn't shared among all those who earned it. The devil did it so that the people who earned more could sit in judgment and decide who got what. This is the modern, devil-filled economy we have today. It allows a lot of wealth to be taken by the wealthy few, which then creates poverty among those who don't earn it.This is the devil.Our economy today is filled with abundant jobs for the unemployed. So many jobs. But unemployment for the unemployed has been as high as 8% in recent years. So, what does a job look like today? It looks like the devil. And it's not an idea that I have, it's a fact.A job is a job that doesn't pay a living wage. It's a job that you work for someone else, making money so that they can make more money.Do you really believe this world can produce a living wage? We're already struggling to produce a living wage. Where do we put a minimum wage that's still high enough to support people to live? Or how much money do we require that people work in order to get it?What if we decided that it's not fair that the poorest among us pay for the wealthy few to take all their wealth from those who do earn it? Instead of continuing to raise the minimum wage, we find a way to create real jobs for everyone.Wouldn't that be something?Devil jobs still exist today.It's a devil job that you've probably seen advertised. It's a job that you probably wouldn't want. A devil job that's being advertised as part of a clever scam. A devil job that everyone knows doesn't exist.Why do these devil jobs exist? Because of a devil-filled culture that values work to make money over work that makes money for the future. That money will buy you happiness.
