It was so sudden. One moment they were having small talk about pizza. Next moment, she was doubled over, steam coming out of her mechanical joints.
"Chica!" Jeremy shouted, terrified.
Her eyes looked blank, expressionless. A hatch on her back popped open, revealing a strange purple device attached to her endoskeleton. A clock counted down from 5:00. Toy Chica had only 5 minutes to live.
"I told you.... He wanted me to attack you. I-i wasn't supposed to let you live! But..." Her painted pink cheeks seemed slightly brighter. "I just....couldn't manage to... It... goes beyond all my programming, and besides.... I don't know... I feel different around you than other humans...."
Tears appeared at the corners of Jeremy's eyes.
"How could he do this...."
