On the day of the opening ceremony, backstage. Louis stands in front of a mirror.
Louis: Thoughts) Failures won't be forgiven. A failure on stage means none other than death.
As Louis tries to take a step forward but his ankle started to hurt more.
Louis: Ngh...! (Thoughts) "I only need to get through today and tomorrow and go to the hospital after that. I'm used to pressure. I just need to avoid looking at my surroundings. One... Just one. There's only one thing I can believe in... Myself."
As Louis faces the members of the Drama Club.
Louis: On the other side of that curtain await new students who will be watching us perform for the first time, their hearts filled with anticipation. Don't worry. Just do as you normally do. We did well at rehearsals.(Thoughts) "What a joke. They were pathetic." Even amidst this horrible affair, our sense of unity didn't waver for a moment. (Thoughts) "We don't need a sense of unity. All that matters is that I'm here." This club is special. On stage, we will show how we herbivores and carnivores live to the fullest. Understand? (Thoughts) "Devote yourself to me."
Members: Yes!
Louis: (Thoughts) "Hah... That's right. I won't let anyone interfere. This is my fight."
Legoshi: (Thoughts) "What Louis said just now... It's like he was trying to convince himself."
Kai: Louis's make-up is almost done. How's the lighting?
Legoshi: Oh... Spotlight 1 is all ready.
Fudge: Louis, we're ready to go.
Louis: (Thoughts) "Now then... I'll show you something great. Pay close attention. A wounded reaper makes his entrance! This... This is our way of life!"
Legoshi: (Thoughts) "Louis's performance was awe-inspiring. As the reaper hero, he sent chills down your spine and made you gasp, as the audience watched with bated breath. His radiance didn't cease for a moment for the whole duration of the play."
As we look to see that Andrew and Rimura were watching the performance behind the curtains with Andrew looking proud of Louis performing even if he is injured.
Louis: Did you chase after me, Ellen? I cannot believe it. With you at my side, I fear nothing. I am a reaper. In my death, I will prove my love.
As the performance reaches the end Andrew knew something was gonna happen, thanks to Rimura telling him of Louis's conditions and how he continues to put more pressure on himself.
Louis: Ellen, have you said your farewells to this world?
As Louis says his final lines everyone in the audience cheers but Andrew told Rimura to contact a doctor to check over Louis after this.
Louis: (Thoughts) "It's over... The curtain is closing. I can hear applause. This was a brilliant finish. I made it. I can't feel a single thing in my legs. How am I standing up? I did it. Did you see me? I did it! I made it through!"
Louis falls to his side after the curtains fall causing the drama club to go check on Louis but Andrew told them to stand back as he picks him up to take him to the infirmary.
Louis: (Thoughts) "What is it? Hey! Why the commotion? They're cheering! We need to hurry up with the curtain call!"
Later in Night, the drama club including Andrew and Rimura is in the infirmary gathered around Louis bed.
Louis: Ngh... Ugh...
Sanu: Louis!
Ellen: Louis!
Louis: Did I... No, tell me this first. Did the audience see me?
Sanu: Don't worry. You didn't pass out until the curtain was all the way down. The audience didn't see a thing.
Louis: Haa... Good.
Bill: So, it's 8 PM now. You're in the nurse's office, and apparently your left leg is fractured. You're in no shape to perform tomorrow, according to the nurse.
Sanu: Bill, hey!
Bill: What? We can't very well keep it from him. It's Louis we're talking about.
Sanu: But still...
Louis: Ngh...
Shelia: The president is right.
Alligator: Take a hint.
Rabbit: Louis made it through the whole first performance with a fractured leg.
Moro: Louis, your performance was amazing!
Ellen: We were discussing what to do about tomorrow.
Tao: Everyone is coming to watch you, so it pains me to suggest, but...
Louis: (Thoughts) "What is happening? They're all pitying me." Hey. You start handling me with kid gloves over a simple fracture?
Tao: Uh, n-no...
Sanu: Uh... That's not really what we're...
Andrew: You're a complete idiot Louis.
Everyone looked shocked at what Andrew had just said about Louis but it also made Louis look down in shame.
Andrew: You knew what would happen if you didn't stop Louis but you didn't care what it would do to you, now look at you a fractured ankle. I understand you want to look strong in front of everyone but remember no matter what everyone has their limits.
Louis: I understand brother I am sorry for being an idiot.
Andrew: At least you understood what you did, now onto the problem of the next performance.
Louis: Bill.
Bill: Huh?
Louis: Take my place.
Bill: Huh...
Louis: You're playing Adler tomorrow.
Bill: Huh? What? What?! You'll let me play him?!
Sometime later in the Drama Club we see both Andrew and Rimura watching them doing their rehearsals but Andrew had a more serious look when he is watching both Bill and Legoshi sparring with each other. And as Bill was about to swing at Legoshi but Rimura grabbed his practice sword giving him her most deadly glare causing him to be scared and making him back up.
Bill looks back up at Legoshi and starts to get cocky again.
Bill: We're a wolf and a tiger. We don't need any fancy theatrics to do a fight scene. Tomorrow we'll have the performance of our lives. Let's do our best.
Bill starts to walk away making Legoshi stand there as Rimura walks back to Andrew as they both nod to each other and leave walking back to their dorm.
Rimura: Should I watch Bill during the performance tomorrow to see if anything will happen?
Andrew: Yes especially keep a close eye on Bill I feel he might do something stupid tomorrow.
