Star stared blankly out of his window, his gaze focused on the sky's bedroom window. Something was missing when sky didn't chat him. Star took a deep breath. This what is called longing or maybe this is just ordinary worry when your best friend didn't chat you. Star closed the window and hid himself in the blanket. His eyes were tired but still wouldn't close. It's almost midnight though.
Drrrt... Drrrt... Drrrt
His phone vibrated on the table. Star got out of the blanket and grabbed his phone, incoming call from star. Star rubbed his eyes many times, he was afraid this was just a hallucination. In fact, Sky actually called him.
"Hello," Star greeted.
No answer. Only the sound of a guitar strumming from Sky, Star walked over to his window. He saw Sky room which was now lit. Star was silent, he was trying to concentrate on the strumming of sky's guitar. At first he was confused, but not long after, Star smiled. Sky plays Tilly bird's song "Same page". Even though it was just a guitar strum without sound, star could feel something warm creeping in his heart. Sky, always full of surprises. Expressing feelings without words but full of meaning. After the song ended, the phone line just cut off. Star was gloomy again when he saw the window of the room was dark again. He looked up at the starless night. It feels strange, only black that looks unadorned. Empty. Will the Sky feel the same when Star are not around. Star took a deep breath. A relationship that makes Star look like a fool. Expect something uncertain. What if Sky already has a lover because for the past two years Star has only been in touch with sky as a message on his phone. Once in a while they met, only for a few minutes. Star always tell stories, while sky is always a loyal listener. Sometimes sky responds with 'hmm' or shakes and nods his head. Occasionally smiled when Star told ridiculous things that happened to him. He's a good listener. Star hopes that one day sky will open his lips to say something. Star don't know what is the reason for him to stay with sky even though he is always silent without a word.
Ding
One message came from Sky in on his phone.
Star I know you haven't slept, open your window.
Star immediately opened his window. Sky is not playing tricks on him, he is really under the Star's room. For a few moments the two of them were silent. But not long after that, Sky took out his cell phone. After a while, a message came in star's phone.
Sorry to disturb you . I was busy, It's not on purpose not to tell or chat you star☹️😕
Star looked down where sky stood now. sky was still there waiting star to accept his apology. Sky typing.
I'm not leaving until you forgive me, Star. ️
I have forgiven you. The night sky is not good for health. :) Good night krab.
Sky smiled and waved his hand before leaving.
Star smiled as he looked at the sturdy back leaving his house. He wanted to hold sky, his longing had not been completely cured. But, he realized that he didn't deserve it. Should he question his relationship with sky?
