Chapter 3

*Addison's POV*

Larry's phone started to ring. "Larry your phone is ringing." I said. "Okay can you bring it to me?" I grabbed his phone and walk to the grill where he was. He then answered it, then hung up after a few mins of talk to someone. I went back and sat down. After a few mins I lit a smoke. The kids where about to get into the pool when they heard someone yell "I'M HOME!" They ran inside to greet them. Then a few mins later, all I seen was Thomas running and jumping in to the pool. Everyone yelled at him while he laughed his ass off.

"Thomas there are two people smoking! Dip-shit." He turned around with wide eyes. 'I guess he didn't know I was here.' "Nice to see you Addie." He then winked at me. I guess I was blushing he then smiled.

Thomas got out of the pool and came up to me and gave me a hug. "Thomas! Your wet!" He just smiled and then whispered in my ear "So how are you?" "Better now your here." Thomas pulled away and I bit my lip because of the expression he had on his face.

' Stop it Addison! You have a boyfriend. You can't ditch him. You love Jake.. Or do you?' I backed away. I saw the hurt on his face. I walked away to go inside. Thankfully no one was inside. As I closed the door I heard it open then close again. I knew he was behind me.

"I'm sorry.." I turned around and saw Thomas looking at the ground. "It's okay.." He looked up with a sad smile. "No it's not Thomas.. WE can't be doing this.." "Why can't we Addison? Because I'm with Katie and your with Jake? Addison.. I like you a lot and it's driving me nuts that I cant be with you.. I...I..-"

"I like you a lot, too Thomas. We've been like best friends for a year and you know I can't break up with Jake.. But I know your feeling.. I get fireworks when you talk to me or just being around me.. But I can't do that to Jake.."

I then walked out. I couldn't handle this right now.. i grabbed my keys out of my pocket. I heard the door open I turned around. "Not now Thomas.. I can't do this right now.." I looked at him I knew I was about to cry if I didn't walk away. "Where are you going?" he looked at me with concern. "Somewhere where I can think.." Then I got in my car and didn't look back, and went to the park which was a few miles down from Larry and Dawn's place. I need to think..
