The next morning when Carmen walked into the kitchen she saw mom cooking she gave her mom a hug. "Mmmm smells delightful" "Glad you think so honey. Go sit at the table. Its almost ready" She said it was almost ready but by the time she was ready I was ready to walk out the door. "Bye mom" I said after giving her a big kiss. "Um, you didn't eat breakfast." "Yeah well you took so long I didn't have the time to." "Well at least take something to go." She handed me a piece of toast. "Umm, thanks?" "Enjoy your day of school, honey. I love you" "I love you too mom. Bye."
