(I'm adding a special character, one of my favorite homestuck characters!!)
"Kankri, please come here." A soft voice rang through the house. Kankri's ears perked up at the sound of it. He followed the voice to see angel, sitting in the couch. Angel patted the spot on the couch next to her. Kankri slowly made his way to the spot. He looked up at her with candy red eyes.
Angel's breath caught in her throat. How was she going to tell him? She cleared her throat and began. "Kankri, listen...." she took a deep breath. "I'm leaving tomarow. " she could practically here his heart shatter into a million pieces.
Kankri looked at her with tears in his eyes. She was leaving him? Did he do something wrong? Red tinted tears began to roll down his cheeks. Angel began to speak again, but was quickly interrupted. "What! Your leaving? Why? Did I do somthing wrong, I'm sorry!!" He wailed.
Angel herself was almost in tears at the sight. She quickly gathered him into her arms, and began to rub his back. "No, no honey.... you didn't do anything wrong! I'm only leaving for a few days." All she got in response where more wails.
Kankri burried his face into her chest and just cried. Angel, the one who took him in, the woman he saw as a mother was leaving. What is she didn't come back! What if something happened to her! He couldn't lose her!
"Ssshhh...." angel shooshed him while humming 'you are my sunshine'. "You can't leave!" He wailed. "Please don't leave! Don't leave, mommy! " he sobbed. Angel stiffened and when she hered the word 'mommy' she broke. She knew kankri saw her as a motherly figure, but he had never called her mom.
She began to cry as well. She held him tighter to her and cried with him. "I'm sorry baby I have to..." she said while trying to whipe away she own tears. "Please..." kankri begged. "Please don't leave."
(Time Skip)
Today was the day. The day angel was leaving. She didn't want to... but she had to. It was only going to be for a few days, kankri would be ok. Right? With her bags packed, she placed then in the trunck, and kankri in his care seat.
"Where are we going?" Kankri aked as angel fastened his buckles. "To a friends house. " she said gently. "Oh.. ok." Kankri said looking out the window as angel started the car. Soon they arrived at there destination.
It was a huge mansion. Angel unbuckled kankri and carried him to the front door. There she sat him down and knocked. A man came to the door. A very call man. He looked kind of scary. He had violet eyes and what looked like two long claw marks running across his face.
Kankri gripped angels hand. She looked down at him and gave a gentle smile. She looked to the man. "Hello, dualscar." She said smiling at the man. Dualscar? What kind of name was that? How did angel know him?
The man 'Dualscar' as angel had called him, looked down at kankri. "Aw, this must be kankri." He said smiling down at kankri. The man sounded weird. He had some kind if accent. Scottish maybe?
Kankri hid behind angel's legs. Angel patted his head. "Yep, this is him." She said looking at kankri. She picked him up. "Ok kankri, you are going to stay with dualscar while I'm gone, ok?" Kankri looked at the man, and then back at angel. He nodded. "I love you, have fun and say safe." She said kissing his forhead.
She handed kankri to dualscar, along with a bag of cloths and a toy or two for him. Kankri looked at the man then back at angel. He say something. Where those tears in her eyes? Angel kissed his head one more time then looked at dualscar. "Take care of my baby." She said. "I will." The man replied. And with that she left.
