Chapter 2

(Normal time)

**Nicole's POV**

It's been 5 years since Louis left. At first we would Skype and email and text. But then he had to change his Skype and email and texting number. And I guess he forgot about me. How fantastic. Please note the sarcasm.

But anyways right now I'm at work filling out some papers. I'm a nurse at a hospital in London. I'm just filling out one of the questions when my boss walks in.

"Nicole," he says," can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Sure," I reply, uncertain. He walks over and sits down across from me. This can't be good.

"Your being promoted." OMG this can be good!

"I am?!" I ask, surprised.

"Yes you are I think that you are a great nurse here and that you deserve some more attention," he says.

"Thanks!" I say.

"Your welcome, now continue with your work."

"Okay, bye!"

"Goodbye." I go back to filling out my papers, smiling.

I'm at home watching tv now. It's been a long day. I'm flipping through channels and I see a one direction interview come on. Ohhhhhhh. Yay!

"So boys, where are you going next?" The interviewer asks them.

"To London!" Harry and Niall say at the same time. But I'm not watching them, I'm watching Louis. He's so cute with his wavy brown hair and his deep blue eyes. Ahhhhh sigh.

Wait. Back the fire tuck up. Did they just say they're coming to London? Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! I might get to see Louis again! I'm snapped out of my thoughts when the interviewer starts to talk again.

"Really? When are you going?" She asks them.

"In three days," Louis replies, making a strange face. He hasn't changed at all. OMG in three days!!!!! Yay!! Unicorns are gonna fly!!!!!! I mean, um, YAY!

"Ok. So which of you boys are single?" The interviewer asks.

"I'm dating the love of my life, Danielle," Liam states.

"I'm single," says Zayn.

"Single and ready to mingle," says Harry. Hahaha.

"I'm currently in a very intense relationship with my food," Niall says. Oh Niall. Niall Niall Niall. Tsk tsk.

"I'm single," says Louis. He looks down and starts twiddling his thumbs. (A/N Idk why I said twiddling). He looks sad. I wonder why.

"Okay well that's all times up guys!" The interviewer says putting on a fake smile. The boys get up and leave. Well that was interesting.
