A newly married couple moved into the two-story house. They decided to introduce themselves to their neighbors. They reached the old lady's house and rang a bell. The old lady opened the door.
Ben goes, "Hello madam, We are Ashley and Ben. We just moved into the house next door to yours."
The old lady looked skeptical for a minute but introduces herself anyway.
"Hello dear, I am Martha. Why don't you both come inside and introduce yourselves properly over coffee." The couple accepted the invitation and started to share their whereabouts.
The old lady kind of snapped at them "I just want to know why you chose that house to move in. This is a big area you could have gotten any house in this neighborhood." The couple didn't know what to say. The old lady sighed, "Oh dear, you must know that house is nothing but pain." The couple became somewhat scared. Ashley was having a hard time maintaining her composure but failing miserably. Ben on the other hand tried to get to know about the deadly secret of their now mysterious haunted house.
"What do you mean by that?". Ben asked
"That house has given me so much trouble in these years. I even called the police but they don't believe me." Martha sighed making ben and Ashley even more nervous.
"What's in there? You can tell us and I promise we will help you out and we will relocate as soon as possible." Ben looked determined.
"Oh honey, if you're insisting so much I should tell you all. That landlord of yours is nothing but a head crack. I have tried to woo him in these past years but he was so madly in love with his wife that he left that house with her. I even tried to call the police and report his kidnapping. But in the end, they closed the case and those swine have the nerve to "advise" me to go and see the good psychiatrist."
Ashley and Ben did relocate after that.
