Fukurōdani and Kamomedai ended up advancing to semi finals while Karasuno and Itachiyama lost at the quarter finals.

Aimi had first congratulated Bokuto and Akaashi for their win when they came back from their match to watch Karasuno play. Then, she hugged some of the Karasuno players, Hinata not being there because of the fever he had caught.

It was heartbreaking to see Hinata so frustrated. The boy almost begged to be allowed to play, but Takeda explained to him why he wasn't going to let him.

The boy was practically sobbing by the end of his teacher's speech.

"I'm sure Shouyou will be fine," Aimi had said, "Don't worry too much, Kiyoko."

The third year manager could only smile gratefully at her.

Finally, she exchanged a few words with her cousins, who lost because their captain's injury.

The day of the semi-finals ended, and now it was time for the finals: Fukurōdani vs Ichibayashi.

Aimi was glad that, despite Nekoma losing, they were still able to watch the matches in person. They were staying at the inn until the ninth of january, when the finals were taking place, since it was already paid.
