A spd Angst AU.

The aftermath

After Zara heard Pringles voice say his name he started to sob out of joy that his friend was able to speak. He then hugged Pringle in a way that wouldn't hurt both Zara and Pringle due to both of their wounds.

Zara: oh Pringle I-I'm so happy you're gonna be okay...

Pringle didn't remember what happened back in the torture chamber due to him being half dead so he was only able to respond out of confusion.

Pringle: w-wha-what h-happened...?

Zara knew he had to heal both of there wounds quickly so he didn't have time to answer Pringles questions

Zara: I'll explain when were both patched up.

Zara was gonna cast a wound healing spell on him and Pringle and once he did, both Pringle and Zara tingly while it was happening. When it was done the after math of there wounds where just scars. With Pringles scar looking like a huge 540• rotated angle scar due to the way he was cut. And Zara's scar looked like a simple circle shaped scar in his gut due to him getting shot there.

Zara: don't worry Pringle your going to be okay...

Pringle was then finally able to sit up due to his pain starting to go away and with him being fully awake.

Pringle: so...so what happened...?
Zara: well I ended up talking to paprika about her murdering you but she wouldn't budge, after that she was salty about me standing up to her so she wanted to permanently kill you just to spite me, she's knocked out in the chamber right now but it's only a Matter of time before she wakes up.

Pringle: oh...t-thank you for saving me...thank you thank you so much...

Pringle started to sob into Zara's arms.

Zara: hey...hey it's okay...it was really no problem. Your safe now and that's all that matters.

While Zara was hugging Pringle he suddenly thought this was the perfect time to do something that he's been wanting to do ever since he met Pringle.

Zara: hey...one more thing...
Pringle: h-huh-MPH!-

Zaragamba then pulled Pringle in for a kiss, Pringle obviously didn't see that coming. He then started to kiss him back. After a few short seconds Pringle pulled away. Pringle was too embarrassed to say anything about what just unfolded but then Zara said in the most soft tone of voice:

Zara: I love you~

Pringle didn't know what to say except:

Pringle: me too~...

Zaragamba then wanted to focus on getting somewhere safe before paprika woke up.

Zara: we should probably get somewhere safe before...she...wakes up.
Pringle: yeah...good idea...

Zara then helped Pringle stand up as they where walking out of Zara's room.

Pringle: Zara...? Can...we not tell anyone about this..?
Zara: yeah...it's for the best if they didn't know...

They went to somewhere safe after that.

2 DAYS LATER

Zaragamba called a work meeting about workplace abuse and how everyone needed to be more nice to Pringle. After that everyone treated Pringle more nicely. Well not nixxiom that much...he was still occasionally mean to him. But not enough for Pringle to feel hurt over, Pringle and Zara then started to privately date without the others knowing because they would've gone nuts. Paprika was sent to a insane asylum where she was sentenced to 5 years in there. Everyone was happy and Pringle was no longer mistreated at work. His life was at least a little better. And he has zaragamba to thank for that.

Pringle was finally happy as he should've been a long time ago.
