Game Night (pt 1)

Cath's POV

Jane grabbed the deck of cards and passed them to me to shuffle and then dish out.

Ar - thanks babe
S - Your welcome love
B - ok if your finished being all lovey start handing out cards.
Ar - shut it Boleyn

I start handing out the cards and once I've finished everyone has seven cards each and there is a pile of the rest of the cards in the middle of us all.

Ar - Addi your on my left so you start.
S - Wait do you know how to play go fish
A - not really
Ar - ok so we all have seven cards and you have to ask one person around the table if they have a certain card but you have to have at least one of that card in your hand. Say you ask Cathy for an eight but she doesn't have one she'll say go fish and you have to pick a card from the middle pile. But if she does have one she has to give it to you. The goal is ti get as many sets if four cards as possible. We play until all the cards are gone and at the end its whoever has the most sets wins.
A - ok I get it
S - do you want to start or do you want someone else to start
A - can i start
S - of course you can

Addison looks around the table before deciding to ask me.

A - Catherine do you have any nines
Ar - yea i do
A - nice

I hand over two cards.

A - haha I already have a set
S - well done Addi

We play until there are no more cards left. Once we finish we work out who won. The places were :
7th - Kitty - 0 sets
6th - Anne - 0 sets
5th - Anna - 1 set - 6
4th - Jane - 1 set - 5
3rd - Cathy - 2 sets - 7 and 8
2nd - me - 4 sets - A, 10, K and 4
1st - addi - 5 sets - 2, 3, 9, J and Q
