Chapter 2: Watching her live

Baekhyun's POV:
"Whew that was soooo tiring!" I complained as our dance trainer left the room. We had just finished dancing our debut song for like 4 hours!!! "IKR Baek! I'm so tired!" Minseok hyung complained as he fell flat on the floor. "Everyone gather around me! I have an important announcement to make!" Manger hyung shouted as we huddled together. "Since your debut is coming up soon, we would like you to watch and learn from your sunbaenims. Thus we are going for SMTOWN CONCERT!"

Taeyeon's POV:
"No way!! Yes!!!" The girls exclaimed as I told them about our new release,
The boys! "Ok girls, we start recording starts soon so get prepared!!" I say as I go the kitchen to grab a snack. Just then our manager came in. " Girls! For your next SMTOWN concert, a group that is about to debut will be there. I hope you can advise them about the challenges and struggles! That group's name is EXO," she said as she made her way to me. " Taeyeon, as SNSD's leader I hope you will be a good role model and help then out."
"Of course I would!" I reassured her as I finished stuffing my sandwich into my mouth and shouted" let's go!!"
Manager unnie laughed at my dorkiness as all of us proceeded to SM for the recording.

Baekhyun's POV:
All of us cheered when we heard we were going for the concert! Kai was delighted that he would be able to see Taemin performing live! "The concert is in a few weeks time, so before that I want you guys to learn the proper behavior." He says as he gestures everyone to sit. He then went on and on about how we should behave and the expected learning outcomes from this. We listened intently as we had to create a good impression if we wanted to debut successfully.

Taeyeon's POV:
"Bring the boys out!" I finished singing my last line as the recording stopped. We had finished all the different versions for our new song, The boys! "khamsamida!" The 9 of us thanked all the staff sincerely as we proceeded to the dorm. We walked pass a training room and saw 12 young boys listening intently to a serious looking man. " hey isn't he that guy?" I think as I spot the familiar looking cutey. " Taeyeon Pali!!!" Jessica shouted impatiently as I ran to catch up with them.

A few weeks later...

Baekhyun's POV:
It's finally time!!! We were currently on our way to the Seoul Olympic stadium where the concert was going to be held.
"yah daebak!!" Luhan hyung exclaimed as we entered the stadium. "Annyeong exo!!!" A familiar voice shouted.

Of course.

" Taemin ah!!" We all went to him and hugged him so hard. Woah, he looked so different, he had matured well. "Wah you've finally become handsome!" Kai teased him as he led us to Shinee sunbaenim's waiting room. "oh Annyeong!" They greeted as us we hugged and talked about life.
While we were talking, fans had already began to fill the stadium. "exo let's go and take a seat." manager hyung said as we bid farewell to shinee hyungs. "Ya daebak! So many fans have come!" Chen exclaimed as we took a seat. And yes, we all had to carry light sticks, but we were pumped up for this concert! (OMG imagine baekhyun holding a snsd light stick!😂😂 )

Taeyeon's POV:
"Ok.... we will be starting in five!" Pd-nim announced as the SM family began gathering together. "let's all do our best! Hwaiting!!" Leetuek oppa cheered as we all agreed. "SM HWAITING!!" We shouted. the first performance was F(X). While the rest of us were backstage and fx was getting prepared, the intro video began to play.
The stadium erupted into cheers.

Baekhyun's POV:
The stadium erupted into cheers as the intro video started playing. All of the SM sunbaenims were beginning to be introduced. "Girls Generation..... Taeyeon!!" The video showed as male voices began cheering loudly. There she was, god she was sooo beautiful! I was looking or rather staring so hard till the members began to erupt into laughter. "Hahaha baekhyun hyung is too into Taeyeon sunbaenim!!" Kai snickered as they continued laughing. I ignored them as I continued watching the video. As soon as the video finished, "remember me!" Was heard. F(x) sunbaenim's song had just started playing and f(x) sunbaenims were killing it! We all watched with awe at how effortlessly they performed. After their performance we all cheered and clapped loudly, especially the biggest fanboy D.O! The next artist came onto the stage with thousands of fanboys screaming. It was snsd sunbaenims!

Taeyeon's POV:
Right after f(x) was us, SNSD. We went to the stage after f(x) finished their last song, and we were welcomed with male voices screaming loudly.
(Gee starts playing)
"Let's go!" Jessica sings as we start dancing and singing to gee. We were quite closer to the seating area so I could see all the faces of our fans. Then, I saw his face again. And it was also my part, so when I came to the front, I gave him a smile and a nod as a greeting.

Baekhyun's POV:
OMG! Taeyeon from SNSD just greeted me in front of everyone! The other members state in shock as I smile back gleefully.... god can this get any better?
All of us start moving our bodies to the nation's theme song, who doesn't know gee? As soon as snsd sunbaenims finished performing, we all clapped and cheered and again Taeyeon sunbaenim glanced at my actions. If looks could kill, I would have died then and there.

The rest of the concert went by in a flash. I was deeply impressed by Shinee sumbaenims. They were so professional and cool! (Fanboy Baek!) We then went backstage to meet someone "who would help us" in manager hyung's words.
"Annyeonghaseyo!" A beautiful voice greeted us.

Taeyeon's POV:
The concert finished well and with a bang! I was so proud of the girls for doing their best! "Taeyeon ah, remember the new group?"manager unnie reminded me. "ah ne! Let's go meet them I say as I proceed to a small room. "Annyeonghaseyo!" I greeted as I saw 12 boys. And him.

"We are one! Annyeonghaseyo exo imida!" They greeted me. Then they introduce themselves one by one. Xiumin, Luhan, Suho, Kris, Sehun, Tao, Kai, D.O, Lay, Chen, Chanyeol and them finally him. "Annyeonghaseyo Baekhyun imida!" He greeted cheerfully. "I remember you, you wee the boy who was running because you were late for training right?" I asked. "yes, and I am very sorry for bumping into you!" He apologised cutely. "Kwaenchanayo!" I say smiling back cutely.

Baekhyun's POV:
OMG why is she soo cute?! I think as I look at her smile. Taeyeon sunbaenim then gave as her hand phone number so that we could call her if we needed any advice. When we went back to the dorm, I could not stop smiling about the day's events. Chanyeol said that I was insane, and it was true. I was insane about her.
