Chapter 1:

"Let's hit the road again Sammy. We need to start picking up cases. It's the only normal I have left to hold onto.... after Charlie." I said to my brother, who was laying on the motel bed. "Then let's find a case." Sam got up and pulled out his laptop. He first went on to the national news, seeing if there was any seriously big events we should check out. Nothing. We searched for any strange deaths or disappearances but nothing had come up. "It seems a little odd that suddenly the world of monsters has gone silent." I say to Sam glancing at the screen as he scrolls down. "It hasn't." A voice from behind me says mysteriously.

Sam and I jumped, but realized it was only Cas. "Dude, you have got to stop showing up out of nowhere." I say. "I am sorry to upset you Dean, I just had found a case for you and Sam. I was also sort of hoping you would let me hunt with you..." Cas says with his serious toned voice. "Well, what's the case?" Sam asked.

"A man dies of a heart attack at age twenty." Cas says. "Yeah, we saw that. Some people are born with heart problems. Why do you think this is our kind of gig?" I ask. "What the news didn't add is that the man had no heart problems ever. The hospital even has a test they took on him because he had one of the strongest cardiac systems they had ever seen. The doctors said that when he ever he died, there was a long list of people wanting to harvest his heart, but sense he died of a heart attack, the heart was unusable for the transplant." Cas explained. "Well let us go pack up, and we can head out and check into this." I say.

We load our bags into my baby, and take off. The town we are headed for is Seattle, Washington. From the motel we were staying at before to Seattle was only a couple hours. Cas sits in the passenger seat by me, and Sam sits in the back. Cas asked to drive, and I told him there was no way in hell I would ever let him drive. He has probably never even drove before. In heaven do they have a place to practice driving and getting a license? I doubt it. I compromised and said he could take Sammy's spot in the front. The drive was pretty slow. Sam had fallen asleep, and Cas looked out the window. I had the radio on classic rock, and it played quietly in the background. I had one hand on the wheel and one on the arm rest, when I feel another hand touch mine. It feels good at first, and I leave my hand there for a couple seconds. Then I jerk away and look at Cas, who had been staring at me. He had probably been looking at me the whole time without me even noticing. "Oops, I didn't realize you had your hand there, Dean." I just nod. It was a bit awkward, but it was also Castiel, an angel who doesn't have the best social skills.

The rest of the drive was long, but we finally made it to a motel. We unloaded in our room and then went to a diner. It was almost dark, and the restaurant was closing soon. I ordered a cheeseburger, as usual. Sam ordered a salad, not wanting to load up on energy when we have to sleep soon. Cas just sat at the other side of the both because he didn't have to eat. "So, Cas, you want to join in with us if there is a case?" Sam says. "That's what I was hoping for. Life has gone boring once the angelic war ended, and Claire left. I need something to occupy myself. " He replied. "We need to make you a fake ID. Unless you still have the one we made you the last time we hunted." I say. Cas disappeared for two seconds. "Here I tracked it down so you don't have to make a new one. Sorry it took so long." Castiel said pulling out a fake FBI card with Jimmy Novak's picture on it. Sam and I finish eating, and us three head back to the motel. We head back and drift off to sleep.

The next morning, we put on our FBI suits, getting ready to go to the morgue and search for hex bags around the crime scene encase a witch was involved. It was odd not seeing Cas wear his usual trench coat. He looked .. I mean.. good. "Shall we get going?" Sam said opening the door to the motel. We get into the impala, and drive towards the police office where the morgue was located in the basement.

"Hello, I am Agent Smith," Sam says pulling out the ID. " I am Agent Buster, and this is Agent Micheal," I say and point at Cas, "We are from the FBI, and we are looking into the death of Chandler Paul. Can you show us to the morgue?" I continue to the cop sitting at the desk. "Why is the FBI looking into his death? Do they really have nothing else better to do?" The cop says. "Well it's procedure . We are just making sure nothing is wrong." Sam says. "Oh okay," He says, and leads us to the basement.

(AUTHOR'S NOTE: this chapter didn't really have Destiel, but I am going to start off the story slow so you can see their relationship grow closer. I don't just want to start out with them suddenly together, because it wouldn't make the most sense. Just stay tunedXD)
