After dinner and paid, the girls went to the exit. On the back of her head, Minji felt Yoohyeon's gaze. And she walked, forcing herself not to look back. As they walked, Bora spoke softly, but Minji was immersed somewhere deep in herself, in her very insides. When they got into the car, Bora asked as if nothing had happened and somehow habitually:
- Well, to my place or to your place?" the girl asked, putting her hand on the knee of her boss.
Minji wanted to evaporate. Just take and disappear and do not explain anything. But, she did not possess knowledge of such a magic trick, so she answered very dryly:
- Come on, I'll take you to your place, and I'll go to my place. I'm very tired.
- I know one good remedy ... how to relieve tension ..." But this time, Minji's self-control took over.
- I know too. Bath and good sleep.
- Did I do something wrong?"Bora asked in bewilderment. "When we went to the restaurant, everything was in order. You weren't tired, much less rushed into YOUR bed.
- Not. You have nothing to do with this. I'm really tired and I just want to..rest.. I'm sorry.
- Okay. Good. I can take a taxi.," said the girl with obvious regret at the disruption of the supposed stormy night.
- No need. I'll take you.
The car took off, leaving traces of the tread on the pavement.
Arriving at Bora's house, she once again tried to "lure" Minji to her, but in vain. Saying goodbye to the secretary and once again apologizing, Minji pressed the gas pedal. She didn't want to go home. At this point in time, she wanted only one thing - to be "released." To let go of this incomprehensible sadness, insecurity, this feeling of itching, heaviness and tightness in the chest. When you want to tear off the skin with your bare hands, break the bones and pull out the heart to make it easier to breathe.
She rode through the already falling asleep and emptying city. Went straight. Pushing harder and harder on the gas, watching the speedometer needle steadily creeping up, crossing the border prohibited for driving in the city. If it was a movie, it would definitely rain, and a sad, sad melody would play in the background. But it was not a movie, so the evening was quite clear and warm, and the cabin was quiet. After spending a couple of hours in this way, Minji nevertheless went home, to the cherished bath.
Relaxing and washing away the incomprehensible imprint of the evening, she collapsed on the bed and fell into a deep sleep.
Friday has come. Minji, sitting at work, pondered plans for the evening after a busy week. She definitely didn't want to spend the evening alone. The choice arose: spend an exculpatory and apparently stormy evening with Bora, call Handong and have an equally stormy and eventful evening with her, or arrange an easy meeting with Yoohyeon that promises nothing.
- Yes, yes, Miss Kim Minji, I'm listening to you," Handong replied in a fake business tone.
- Hey, what are your plans for Friday night?" Minji realized that she didn't regret calling her.
- If you want to offer something boring, then I'm busy. And if you want to call me for a drink, then I'm ready.
- Yes. The second option fits here," Minji chuckled.
- Dami left on her business trip, so you can roll into my mansions!" Handong readily replied.
- I agree, I will come at 7 PM
- I can't wait," said her friend.
Immediately after the conversation, Bora entered the office.
- What are you going to do tonight?" she hinted as she walked around Minji from behind and ran her hand over her shoulders.
