A small thief crouched as he entered the massive gates. The mansion loomed in the fog ahead. The full moon illuminate the the world around him, giving him light has he dashed toward the building. He could see his own breath as he picked the doors' lock. Unlike normal doors, this one was huge. The thief was a very small human being, half the size he should be, however he made up for his size with being one of Europe's most wanted criminal. Dressed in black rags and blue disarranged pieces of sackcloth he looked like bandit no doubt. Az the Thief stuck another piece of metal into the lock, he marvel the locksmith whose craftsmanship was giving him quite a difficult time. The lock itself was a large golden lion's head, it's gaping jaws silent roaring at him in protest.              After nearly an hour he gave up, looking up he peered at the windows, all were large enough to fit in. The keeper of this house wasn't stupid, if the door had a lock like this, imagine what the windows were like. Az darted around the house, after a while of searching he found an old cellar door. Crouching, he reached out and pulled at the rotting door.

Struggling, he managed to open one. It fell open with a crack as the old oak wood splintered. Az cringed and squinted up in fear at the windows. Dark. Az quickly made his way into the cellar. It was dark as a cave down there. His arms out, he groped the air waiting to bump into something. The rich smell of aging wines and beer wafted through the air. If he wasn't on such a tight schedule he would take a few sips, his love for alcohol was unmatched.Suddenly there was a strip of light, a bloom of orange in the darkness. Running toward it, Az felt a door. Peeking through he saw a butler of some sort walk past, carrying a candle. He disappeared into another room and Az slowly kept out. Hunching down, he made his way around a beautiful gold encrusted table and matching chairs. The tabletop itself was solid granite. Very rare and expensive in this region. Reaching out he traced his finger on the leg of the table. Once again he admired the craftsmanship acquired here. In the darkness
